"A very well kept house and garden about 1km from the beaches of Puntu Izu. The house is bright and modern inside and had everything we needed for a two week stay. The children enjoyed playing in the garden around and the veranda was a lovely, shaded spot to sit and look at the view. The landlady was welcoming and helpful and there was plenty of information in the house to show us where to explore the local area. Overall a lovely stay."

"This was such a wonderful place to stay... Tucked in a beautiful countryside, within an Olive Grove, but just minutes outside of the City limits. Our Host, Nicola was incredible!!! Most excellent directions to accurately find our lodging, and he was so warm and inviting... lots of suggestions and recommendations that were spot on!! The pool and grounds were gorgeous!! Such a relaxing place for our vacation!"

"La casa en general esta muy bien, dormitorios espaciosos, comedor y sala estar amplia. Lastima que el exterior está muy descuidado.Patios muy sucios. El delantero lleno de basura de los inquilinos anteriores que tuvimos que tirar nosotros debido a la recogida puerta a puerta. Creo que lo normal es que lo dejaran limpio antes de alquilarlo de nuevo. La nevera no enfriaba bien y se nos estropeó comida. Hay que ponerla al tope y aun asi no acaba de ir bien. La TV y el aire acondicionado del salón...

Porto Alabe is charming, and the beach is secluded snd close to the property. The water is crystal clear and perfect temperature. Other little towns nearby are also full of history and charm( try Santu Lissurgiu). Great romantic getaway!"

"Die Villa von Erica und ihrer Familie liegt mitten in ihrem eigenen kleinen aber feinen Olivenhain (das eigene Olivenöl ist köstlich und kann gekauft werden). Wir wurden noch nie so herzlich empfangen. Die Mutter hatte für unsere Kinder extra einen Kuchen gebacken. Vielen Dank! "Sardinia is undoubtedly a lovely place but, for me, the best part of our holiday was Paola's house. It was literally steps from the sea and the relaxing sounds of the waves were the background to a much needed holiday for 6 stressed adults! The details now. The beds are very comfortable and the shower pressure is excellent. The kitchen is equipped to cook your meals but there are takeaway and eat in pizza places within easy walking distance even for an old bird like me! We also ate at the bar...

"Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour à Porto Alabe, c’est un côté de la Sardaigne préservé et loin du tourisme de masse. La maison était parfaite pour nous 4 (2 parents, 1 enfant de 5 ans et 1 enfant de 3 ans), et vraiment très agréable à vivre. L’étage est traversant ce qui permet d’aérer facilement. "Giovanna is a lovely host and was very helpful in recommending places to eat and visit. The villa is quite remote and rural so a car is essential but it is really peaceful with lovely views of the sea and mountains. We visited a different beach every day - our favourite was Sa Mesa Longa. Thassos is worth a visit - very nice beach there too. We had a good meal at Desogos in Cuglieri - large portions so definitely go hungry as recommended by another ! Had a lovely week - thank you Giovanna x"
