"I recently stayed at the Blackwell Grange Hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely view of the gardens. From check-in to check-out, they made me feel genuinely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Dining at the hotel was also a pleasure — the food was fresh, well-prepared, and served in a lovely setting. Breakfast had a great range of options, catering to different tastes. Location-wise, it’s ideal — close enough to Darlington town centre yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. "1-night stay for a business trip. This hotel is in a convenient location right on the Scotch Corner junction. Room was clean and as expected, easy parking. The restaurant was OK for both breakfast and dinner, not fine dining but decent enough. I recommend this one over the next Holiday Inn further north."
