"This little apartment was wonderful - cozy, clean and well-appointed with everything you could want or need and spacious enough to really spread out. By American standards the bathrooms are great and there was a king-sized bed! We really appreciated being able to do some laundry. The town of Silvermines is very quiet (only one pub that doesn't serve food, but is a hoot - my husband had a great time chatting with people). "We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. Loved all the decor, books, location & Denise’s Irish soda bread was YUMMY! Highly recommend. Debbi & Perry"

"The property was better than described, being large, comfortable and with wonderful views. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Jeanette and Steve, the hosts, are delightful, being very welcoming and helpful. The area is new to us and we were surprised how close everything was and how much we enjoyed it. "The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. The attention to detail that he has put into refurbishing this old farmhouse is phenomenal. The views surrounding the house were spectacular! We even got to experience a local farmer moving his cattle from one pasture to another on the road in front of the house. A true Irish gem and we will...

"From the minute we stepped foot into this property, we felt at home. We were met with sparkling clean accommodations, breathtaking views, a bowl of fruit on the table, and coffee and teabags in the counter! The rooms were all comfortable and attractive, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, tea pots, coffee press, sugar, spices, etc. We had a wonderful holiday at Shannon View, and recommend it highly! "Our stay exceeded all expectations. Tom, the owner could not of been any nicer or helpful. The cottage was well stocked. Food markets in Tipperary were close and convenient. The cottage and garden are stunning. We highly recommend staying in the cottage if you are looking for a fairytale. When we first arrived the cottage was hard to find at night, but a quick call and Tom was out with a flashlight to guide us in. What a great host."
