"Very basic hotel, a bit noisy at night time, but I was still able to get a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly. Just keep in mind that you check in at a hostel a few doors down, but the staff will walk you to your building. The hotel's location cannot be beat!"

"Awesome place! Nice size rooms and right off the old town part! Short walk to parking, breakfast, and the historic part of Ljubljana! Lucas got me taken care of and pointed out places to eat and drink and showed me to my room and was a great help! The staff were all great! If im ever back in Ljubljana, ill for sure be looking for a room here! Thanks yall!"

"Perfect location overlooking the river. The views were amazing! Close to everything. The room was a good size and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Despite location, the window system blocks out noise from outside. I went for 4/5 for 2 reasons. 1: I found I kept picking up blonde hairs on my socks but I am brunette so the floor must not have been cleaned properly. 2: the shower dripped half the night which disturbed my sleep. "Our stay at Viva rooms was good. The location between the train station and the tourist areas was great. The host was excellent at responding to messages and met us at the hotel. She was really nice and even recommended a book store for us to find a special book. "Exterior looks like a building occupied by punkers. Reception was tiny and busy, but effective. We got a day short on our keys, but it was fixed quick enough. Rooms were clean, cool, quiet, and functional. Nothing fancy at all but we had a very good sleep over 3 nights. Showerhead was terrible."

Convenient to major bus and train station Staff very helpful and welcoming. comfortable accommodations but there are no amenities at all. No laundry facilities, self laundry is a 17 minute walk. No hairdryer in room. Also Would have been nice to have a common area for brewing hot water for evening tea and refrigerator to hold food because restaurant is not open every day. "

"I felt like this experience gave a glimpse into maybe how locals live. It was a very good size place to stay. The breakfast was my favorite one after being in Europe almost 3 weeks. Crepes- yum! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was a charming place and I’m glad we stayed there! Nice to have parking taken care of too. "

"The place was clean, great location, highly recommended. The only negative thing I found (and it bother me because I was traveling with kids) was the cleaning lady knocking at my door at 9:30, then at 9:45 pointing at her watch, when checking out is at 10. As we are asked to check in at 3pm, I was expecting to be left alone until 10am. "

"I had a very good stay in Studio 3. The studio was spacious and very well appointed and very clean. A special mention for the bed which was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for years! "A beautiful apartment, very spacious, clean and with great amenities. Perfect for exploring Ljubljana, in the old town near to lots of bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, explaining where the local sights were and supermarket etc. Would definitely recommend."

"A beautifully renovated hotel in the centre of the town. Breakfast is served from 7 - 10, is excellent with a wide choice of sweet and savoury to keep up you going for the day. The hotel is within walking distance of all the sights, restaurants and cafes. We rented a car, so parked it in the hotel’s underground garage for €21 a night. It’s a tight squeeze to drive in and around, however we felt it was worth the extra as we drove out to Radovljica and Lake Bled one day, Škofja Loka (currently undergoing massive renovations in the old centre, so unfortunately disappointing) on our way out as we had an afternoon flight. Ski resorts are within easy driving distance, I did Krvavec (programme the gondola parking NOT the actual ski resort if this is something you are considering) and Cerkno which were pleasant and enabled me to buy morning passes so I could return to Ljubljana in the afternoons. Welded the pool and sauna facilities and these were clean and well maintained."
