"Santa & Giovanni were wonderful! Anything we needed help with they were always available. Even gave us a ride to the train station! Fresh fruit & vegetables were plentiful! The air conditioners worked very well. It was very hot while we were there for 5 1/2 weeks. The pool was very refreshing. They even cooked for us along with their son & daughters help. We would definitely recommend you staying at this lovely home. It was very private, but the town was only 5 minutes away. "

"Stayed here for 14 days. Generous space with lots of room for multiple guests. We didn't realize the villa was two separate units. This was unexpected as we thought there would be a central indoor staircase. We made it work but we did feel separate from each other. Eduardo brought us lovely treats from a local bakery a couple of times which was very kind. You definitely need a vehicle to stay here. While it says there are a few things in walking distance we felt the car was necessary....

"Villa Il Forte is the most incredible setting. It is an incredible historic and luxurious home while being comfortable, spacious and accommodating. Many different spaces to relax, connect and play. Paolo’s team were absolutely amazing. The chef Thomas is so talented while also being wonderfully personable and fun. The driver Fabrizio was so generous and thoughtful. His guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I have already booked it for next year! I can’t wait to go back! "

"Wir haben unseren Urlaub hier sehr genossen. Es war Erholung pur. Auch unser Hund fühlte sich sehr wohl. Das Haus ist umgeben von einem wundervollen Garten. Alles grünt und blüht. Der Pool ist einfach toll. Man kann auf den beiden Sonnenliegen prima entspannen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. "Maison plutôt bien située, assez proche de Pratovecchio pour pouvoir se déplacer y boire un café ou faire quelques courses facilement, ce qui, quand on est 16, demande pas mal d’organisation. La maison en elle-même est très sympathique et bien équipée. Nous avons juste regretté que les chambres du 2eme étage nous soient octroyées plutôt que celles du bas qui étaient plus grandes et plus lumineuses, d’autant que nous avions 4 enfants de moins de 7 ans dont deux bébés.
