"We absolutely loved our 10 days in Flora's amazing cottage. Check in was simple and hassie free. It was very clean on arrival and was really well equipped with everything you could need for cooking meals. All appliances worked well and were very easy to operate. Very comfy beds, fluffy towels and the shower is amazing! "This house is fantastic. Our favorite property in our month long UK adventure. The house was very clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped. All the appliances worked and the kitchen was spacious and modern. The location in Uig was perfect. Close to the major sights we wanted to see. While there were a lot of high end (luxury) things in the house, it really isn't meant for 6 adults.Perhaps 4 medium sized people. The rooms were tiny and luggage had to be left in the living room. A single couch isn't enough for 6. The kitchen was pretty small for trying to cook in and the counter stools were too big for sitting in if anybody needed to get anywhere. The sun room...

"My husband and I and two friends from the States recently spent three wonderful nights at The Old Church on the Isle of Skye. The beautiful old church has been thoughtfully and beautifully restored and renovated into two 3 bedroom units with ample amenities. We were in the Preachers Rest and had beautiful views of the Little Minch Strait. The stunning grounds of the property were immaculate and lovingly cared for. "Overall, I liked this cottage. It is definitely out in the country so I hope anyone looking at this home understands that moths and spiders exist in the world. We named the spiders and left them alone and nobody was bothered by them. The other reason for the 3 stars on cleanliness was just because some of the bathroom items could have been cleaner, including the shower mat. Sandra, the owner, was super responsive and wonderful. "This property was a very nice place to stay while in Isle of Skye. It is quite remote though, but, I think that is the nature of the Isle itself. The space is nicely laid out and worked for our larger group. I would only add, that kitchen set up was a bit odd (i.e. things were located in very odd places - or least not exactly where I would expect them to be) so were constantly rummaging through cabinets trying to find things. Overall, this is a lovely home and place to stay."
