Fantastic property
The accommodation is impeccable. Great pool, really well finished with decking all round, and a bar with a couple of pumps: one with cold, filtered water and one serving fresh beer (optional).
Set in a quiet cul de sac, entry is through automatic security gates, with ample parking behind the property.
The villa has four bedrooms, all of which are in very good condition and perfectly comfortable for two people in each. The property was immaculately clean when we arrived, and everything has been well fitted and maintained.
The kitchen and adjoining utility room are incredibly well-stocked and have everything you need. All appliances, including the washing machine and drier are very good quality and simple to use.
Spoilt for choice when eating as there is a dining room with table, the courtyard table, and another dining table outside.
The lounge has a very comfortable sofa with a large TV for movie nights.
The closest convenience store is an eight-minute walk, or there is a Bakers, Butchers and convenience store around 15 mins away. The closest large supermarket is less than 2km.
Obviously, the location means this property is perfect for visiting vineyards with a couple of options just a 15-minute drive.
Bordeaux is approximately 30 mins by car, or the number 3 bus picks up a couple of minutes from the villa and takes you right into Bordeaux for less than €2.
Lastly, the hosts were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful when checking us in and made themselves available to us
