The Venice Lodge LLC

Known as the fishing capitol of the world, Venice is the prime location for anglers to target various species of game fish. The Venice Lodge offers a luxurious living space within striking distance of both the Mississippi River and Gulf of Mexico fisheries.

With 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, the lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 9 people and includes a fully furnished living room with a sofa, recliners and large flat screen TV for relaxing after a long day of fighting fish. The large dining room table will bring everyone together for dinner and our full kitchen is equipped with everything to prepare a gourmet meal, including a full size refrigerator, stove, oven and even dishwasher. Also convieniently available during your stay are a full washer and dryer, charcoal bbq pit and ice machine. All basic amenities such as paper products, cookware, bath soap, towels and bed linens are included to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your time spent at the lodge.

If you're looking to go straight to the hot spots, we offer the full Venice experience through our inshore guide service, where our seasoned captains are sure to put you on the fish.

If it's big game you're after, we can also arrange for offshore fishing charters to target pelagic species in the Gulf of Mexico.

From gorgeous redfish to record-setting tarpon, sailfish and tuna, you're sure to find the fishing adventure of your lifetime here in Southeast Louisiana. So whether you're bringing your own boat or want to jump right in the action on ours, The Venice Lodge will provide you with a luxurious, pleasant and unforgettable experience.



Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are non refundable for no shows.
We ask for a 10 day notice of cancellation of your trip and your deposit will be returned or applied to a future trip.

Great space. Large, open and clean. Plenty of bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was absolutely awesome! Only a quick ride to Venice Marina. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for fishing out of Venice Marina.
A group of five adults stayed and had a great time. Property was clean and the process was smooth. Located across the street from a gas station / grocery and about 10 minutes drive to the marina. Would stay here again. Only thing to consider is maybe an outdoor table, chairs, and umbrella. Would be nice for hanging out outside, but still was a very good place to stay.

House was nice and suitable for our group of friends. BEWARE the host will try and charge for extra cleaning fees even though things were agreed upon before the booking was confirmed. For this reason I would be hesitant to rebook.

Venice Tuna Fishing Trip
This was our second time to stay at the Venice Lodge and it was exactly what we expected. It's perfect for us, no need to look anywhere else. This time we went fishing with Capt John with Pelican Charters. We had a blast and caught some big fish. John and Katie are great people and we look forward to visiting more often in the future. Thanks for the great time!

Perfect Fishing Cabin
The Venice Lodge was exactly as advertised. Great lodging, updated appliances and plenty of space for the 6 fishermen in my party. Katie was very easy to communicate with and even dropped by one afternoon. If you want a cabin that sleeps 6+ comfortably near Venice, this is it. Added bonus was the mini grocery store across the street - everything we needed plus breakfast sandwiches and sandwiches for the boat. We will be back.

This place is perfect, we arrived to a clean smelling place with all in order, It had everything listed in the ad and more, BBQ grill, fish fry set up, clean sheets, towels and wash clothes, if you have a larger group and just want room to spread out and relax, this is the place, 5 mins from Venice marina, a store across the road. I have stayed on house boats many times in the past, no more, this was a much better expperience, and yes, COLD a/c.

Great Place for a group of sportsman!
This place may look like an old Napa store (LOL) but it is perfectly setup for a group of guys or family in town for fishing and/or hunting. Plenty of extra bath towels (which is a usually a problem with places like this) and the freezer was full of breakfast sandwiches leftover from previous guests. That was much appreciated in the morning after a long day of fishing and a few celebratory cocktails. One of the only convenience stores in the area (they also sell sandwiches, beer, ice, and liquor) is directly across the street which was also very nice! I will be back!
