Magic Beach House @ Boomerang Beach

Magic Beach House is our family beach house or Bach, if you are from across the ditch. For those of you with children you may recognize the name of the children's book Magic Beach by Alison Lester. This story speaks of everything that is wonderful about growing up with a beach house - a place to relax no matter what the weather and build wonderful memories. Magic Beach House is ideal for families and couples wanting a comfortable, relaxed environment.

Magic Beach House has a large open plan living area with a big TV and bean bags, BYO popcorn but Wi-Fi and Netflix included. There is reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you cool or warm. After your day at the beach, you can have a hot or cool outdoor shower with great water pressure one of life's simple pleasures I think.

Boomerang Beach is a beautiful beach just three hours north of Sydney. There are other beaches within a two minute drive - Elizabeth Beach and Blueys Beach - and beautiful secluded Shelley Beach is a 10 minute walk over the headland form Elizabeth Beach. There is just a small strip of shops with a general store, bottle-o with a deli, two cafés, fish n chip shop and a great pizza shop. However if you need to do a big shop, the town of Forster is only a 20 min drive away.

Undoubtedly the jewel in the Pacific Palms surfing crown, Boomerang Beach proudly holds the mantle of being the best surf beach in this picturesque region. Showcased by its sweeping arc of golden sand, (hence the name Boomerang Beach) it plays host to major surfing competitions each year, with the rock ledge formations helping to create superb surf conditions. Water enthusiasts will also enjoy the playful dolphins and migrating whales while anglers will relish being able to take advantage of the beach and rock fishing on offer. Great location but not the cleanest of places
We love boomerang and come here often ! This property Is a great spot in terms of location ! a great yard for the kids and your loved pet :) But with the amount of money we spent, we were left disappointed with the cleanliness of it. It was really dusty and the smell of cigarette smoke when we walked in was quite over powering. Nothing felt all that clean ! Pots, pans and cups all really dirty and oily. The place has so much potential! Grateful for opening up your home to us but on the whole quite disappointed.

Handy to Beach but not quiet
We did stay at peak holiday time but early morning traffic noise was significant. Very good for ducking to the beach and back on foot. The house was well equipped but not very clean upon arrival. Carpets not vacuumed, food bits in microwave, coffee still in percolator etc.. Kitchen and courtyard practical. Pet friendly is a huge benefit. Although I have written an honest review (warts and all) we did enjoy our stay very much and would probably stay there again outside peak holiday times.
