The Space:
The Fog Getaway 1 by Tiny Away is a tiny house getaway off NSW's Barrington Coast. Just 10 minutes away from the town of Bulahdelah and by the rural locality of Boolambayte, you can discover Australia’s majestic outdoors. This includes the unforgettable reefs, islands, beaches, and coast. Explore Myalls Lake National Park, Boomerang Beach, Seal Rocks, Coomba Park, and Elizabeth Beach for an unforgettable coastal adventure.
A comfortable, accommodation of approximately 139 square feet is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

The Fog Getaway 1 by Tiny Away is located in the locality of Boolambayte, just a 45-minute drive from the town of Forster and 10 minutes from Bulahdelah town. Located in NSW, Australia, this region offers an array of aquatic activities, including boating, fishing, paddling, and surfing. Serving as an ideal hub for exploring the Barrington Coast, you can enjoy water-based adventures like whale and dolphin-watching cruises, scuba diving, and sailboarding.
Our local recommendations:
- Myall Lakes National Park, North of Newcastle. It encompasses one of the state's largest coastal lake systems and provides excellent hiking, kayaking, and fishing opportunities.
- Boomerang Beach, located in Pacific Palms, boasts an iconic boomerang shape and is renowned as the premier surfing destination in the area. Its rock ledges contribute to excellent wave formations.
- Seal Rocks represents the essence of Barrington Coast, offering a secluded seaside village experience. It is renowned for its picturesque lighthouse and pristine, untouched beaches.
- Coomba Park, near Pacific Palms, is a lakeside treasure by the tranquil waters of Wallis Lake and is bordered by Wallingat National Park.

- Reachable by both 2WD and 4WD.

- Charcoal BBQ Grill is available upon request, please bring your own charcoal, fire starter
- Wifi is not available
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Smoking is only allowed at outside of the tiny house
- Mobile reception has good signals for all telco companies.
- Outdoor firepit and free firewood is available upon request
- Pets are allowed by prior notice and to be kept on leash at all times
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
