"The house is in an excellent location, quiet and yet close to attractions of the black forest. The landlady was very nice. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all you need for cooking and eating your meals at home. There's also a washing machine, that's very helpful if you're traveling for a long time. There's a very nice garden with a courtyard. The only problem was the basement floor. There's a big bedroom there with a shower, but we could'nt be there. It's very cold there and the smell was...

"Our experience at Daniele and Pascal’s house in Thannenkirch was a 5-star experience. Daniele and Pascal were charming, generous, friendly, and helpful which, of course, helped make our stay a memorable one. The house itself is a gem and we didn’t lack for anything. "We enjoyed our stay here very much, the house is nice and roomy and well equipped. It’s in a private area with gate system which gives a very secure feeling although being in a sleepy village there wasn’t any cause for worry. parking space for 2 cars. We were glad of the airco in the dining area as temperatures got quite high in the afternoon/evening. Two nice little sitting areas at the side of the house to relax outside but we did miss having a garden for more active relaxation. Not seen in...

"8 of us stayed and found the property exactly as detailed. Bedrooms were all large with comfortable beds and excellent bedding, bathrooms with great showers. Really well equipped inside and out with good quality throughout. Brilliant location - 15min walk to town centre, 2 mins to large Leclerc, great for a base to explore the wine route. We were delighted with our 4 night stay and great communication with our host Jean Claude 👍"

"The stay was quite pleasant except for one evening. We had told the owners we were staying with family for a night but plans changed. When we got home we had no heat for the evening but it was too late to contact them. It would have been nice to have some control over the heat since one of the parties was older and handicapped. Other than that, the place was very clean - perfect for 2 people. "

"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....
