"If you arrive by car in the dark then its not easy to see the driveway to the Reception nor where you can actually park. You have to go in and ask! Very friendly and informative staff so first class in that respect. Room was fine and good enough but noisy smoking neighbours in next room on the adjoining balcony. Restaurant staff great. Usual disappointing menu but typical french fayre and they still dont know what a well done steak is! "

"We had a terrific stay at Ken and Shona's rental. The house was full of character, very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen in a quiet and scenic neighbourhood. As cyclists, it was a great spot to launch a bike ride from with countless quiet backroads that were picturesque beyond belief. The house was close to all amenities and it was easy to busier roads/highways to travel to other towns and cities such as Pau, Bayonne etc. The pet donkeys were a special treat and we looked forward to seeing them in the mornings while drinking our coffee in the backyard. Shona and Ken were incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We would highly recommend this house!"

"When we arrived at 3pm per our check in instructions, we were told the room would not be available until 5-530pm. Floors were dirty and the room is in need of updates. People at the front desk were friendly but did not speak any English. Although stated on hotels.com that English was spoken. "

"Service was excellent. We had anticipated a lake view but most of the hotels lake view is blocked by a public indoor pool structure so that was disappointing. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean."
