"Our stay at the Holiday Inn express was very nice. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was really good. The only suggestion I would have was the lack of shower pressure which the hotel said that they will be checking out."

"The hotel was in a good location for our trip to visit Mammoth Cave N P. The breakfast was limited some what in food choices. However there was enough to have breakfast. The staff we met were helping and nice. The area around has a McDonald’s and a Cracker Barrel near the hotel. "

"Our cabin was new and updated, cozy. Also, cabin was clean and all amenities were there: laundry machine, dishwasher, utensils, TV's. Purchase your own woods, it will be cheaper. Nice place for getaway. "

"What a great little place to stay! Always stay in Cave City as I drive down to Mardi Gras every year from Ontario. I love that area just off the highway where the T-Rex statue stands by the southbound I-65 exit 53 ramp. The area is VERY well lit. There are gas stations and, even though I rarely eat fast food, there are a ton of options around there. I've stayed at different locations around that area and only one was not good. I'm reviewing this as it is. I don't review hotels with lesser stars as if they should be some luxury spot. This is a budget-friendly place that provided everything I needed. You can clearly see that it is an older property, but they have put in the work to keep it up. The paint looked new and the floors looked new too. The place was spotless. Bed was very comfortable. TV worked and there was a good selection of channels. Luggage rack was in the room, which I love. You can get your large suitcase up to grab level and open it up without lugging up and down off the bed or a table. There was a desk with a chair, VERY clean fridge and microwave - in fact the over-the-top 'fancy' hotel I stayed at in The Quarter didn't have a fridge but they brought one and it was disgusting. "This little place was exactly as advertised. Some nice charm to it!Like most little houses, don't expect much privacy from your travel mates, so unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but the hot tub was nice to relax in at the end of the day. If your neighbors are out at their fire pit during your stay, you'll likely want to give them a wave since it's rather close. Think of it like camping! Overall a very nice piece of property and great place to call home while visiting sites in the area! We mostly used the residence for home base while doing tours at the caves, "

"Room is clean and updated. Bed and pillows are very good. We had a problem with the Tv but it was fixed in an hour. Breakfast is beagle’s, cereal yogurt and apple. Worth the money we paid. We are happy we stayed. "
