"This property was much bigger than I expected. It was basically an apartment in a building instead of just a hotel room. It had its own kitchen in a separate room, as well as a bathroom completely separate from the bedroom. All 3 locations had doors to close off from the other areas. The only negative about the property was that although it advertises being soundproof, it is very much not. The building is right on a main road with a train that would pass by about every 5 minutes. "Wonderful, quiet location in a charming neighborhood. 30 minutes by tram to the Altstadt. Short walk to a lovely beer garden and ferry to the Pillnitzer Castle. We also loved cycling along the Elbe. For some reason, the access code was sent through Expedia instead of Hotels.com, so you might need to call the hostess before arrival to meet you. She was very gracious and the breakfast was a delight. A wonderful place to experience Dresden in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment!"

Dejligt med køleskab og alle køkken nødvendigheder. Stort badeværelse med jævnlig rengøring og med nødvendige brugsting. Fin terrasse med nye møbler. "This is a simple pension with a very good restaurant. Breakfasts were quite good but simple. The rooms are bare bones, but if you only need to sleep and shower, it is fine. We visited in August 2022 when the weather was warm (20C), but we do not know how well the room is heated for the winter. "

"Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Umgebung. Der direkt vor der Wohnung befindliche - gut besuchte - Biergarten schließt rechtzeitig (20/21h) und stört somit nicht den Nachtschlaf. Einziges Manko war der etwas modrige Geruch im Zimmer - vielleicht könnte ein Luftentfeuchter für Abhilfe sorgen. Guter Service und somit für Leute, deren Nase nicht überempfindlich ist, empfehlenswert."

Across the street from probably the most interesting site in town (Dresden Zwinger, looks like an old palace, with museums), and about 2 blocks walk to the town's centra; square where they hold oldest Christmas market in Europe. Restaurants all around. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a fantastic view of the Zwinger. We had the XXL suite, and our kids loved the bunk beds while the adults enjoyed the other comfortable beds. All very clean, nice kitchen and bathroom, great value....
