Horrible experience
We were excited to book this property for a trip with extended family. As the check in date approached, we had not heard from the property manager regarding arrival instructions. I had tried messaging in the app multiple times, with no response from. Finally, through customer service, we were able to contact him by phone. He said that we’d receive instructions the next day (day of check in) by noon. He was quite rude on the phone. The following day, two hours before our check in time, we got a message saying a pipe burst in the house and we would not be able to stay at the property. When I asked about a refund, the property manager said that he wasn’t responsible for handling that, then he stopped responding to my messages entirely. In every instance of communication with him, he was rude and short with us. We were left with nowhere to take our group of 16 (including 10 children). Eventually, after several phone calls and hours spent on the phone, we did receive a refund. But this was a horrible experience that ruined our entire vacation.
