"The stay was fantastic! The beach was less than 100 steps away! Be warned we have a 4 Runner and it wouldn't come close to fitting in the parking spot. Street parking in December was decent. Only tiny complaint is that the pull out couch's mattress should be replaced with something thicker. "

"Love the location. Being close to the beach is a priority for us so less than a block’s walk is ideal. The place was comfortable and clean. He all we needed to rest and cook meals. Will definitely recommend this location to those who like a cozy place close to the beach. "

"Loved working with the owner, the location is perfectly central to all of Mission Beach activities and the beachfront. The house was well equipped and easy to be in/keep clean. The only slightly funky thing is that the upstairs residents' patio is directly in front of the living room windows. Luckily they did not use it while we were there. All else was great! Thank you!"

"We loved our stay here! The place was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We cooked everyday, and had a little trouble with the stove at first, but Ryan kindly came over to show us how to operate it. Their place is close to everything-the beach, restaurants, airport and train station. Restaurants and beaches are very close within walking distance. You do not need a car to stay here. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Mike's Place is basic, nothing fancy, but it's super clean and quite close to the ocean. Communication by the host was excellent. But that said, they might consider a couple things for improvement: supply some coffee and/or tea for guests; and amend the check-in and check-out times. We're all used to 3pm check-in and 11am check-out times, but their 4pm check-in time and 10am check-out are a bit extreme and cuts 6 hours out of a 2 day booking. We were offered an early check-in, but had already...

"Suite was very clean and had everything you need in regards to bedding, towels and a well stocked kitchen. Great area to stay in - very laid back with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Property manager was great at communicating."

"We enjoyed our visit to beachcomber hideaway. Convenient location with parking on the street. The unit is clean and well maintained. The beach is a short walk but we found having a car is best for all the sights and activities that are in the area."
