"Very nice property with friendly staff. The view from the bar / pool area is fantastic too. Rooms are nice, with everything you need. Breakfast was too expensive for a buffet, not that it was bad, just overpriced. You really need a car as walking into town isn’t very convenient. Bear-in-mind, you’ll be going out for lunch and dinner, possibly breakfast too. The general location is great, but can get extremely busy. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Genovese. Parking was simple and straight forward. The view from our room and balcony was simply unreal. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed dinner from the hotel restaurant twice and both meals were excellent. "Cavallo is an idyllic and beautiful island. Unfortunately the hotel is no longer run in a first class way and I could not in good conscience recommend staying here (especially at these prices). For example, there is a ferry that takes you to the island. We called the hotel bc we were 3 mins late (after a 17 hour flight from California that wasn't so bad). "Superbly clean, friendly staff, stunning infinity pool, so QUIET! It was so peaceful. Bring your own groceries for snacks, as there are few eating options nearby particularly in low season. We had to check out at 9:45 am which was unfortunate, but again it’s low season so staff is limited. Overall we had a fantastic time."
