"This place was a pigsty both inside and outside. There is broken furniture and crap everywhere. The kitchen benchtops were all cut and damaged. It was more a mens hostel than a backpackers. The room I was given was dirty, and the toilet had been used. There were hairs in the sink and ants crawling on me in my bed. There was no blanket. I had to use the second bath towel for warmth. "On the Bay is a great complex close to most things at Bongaree. Great sized room and easy parking undercover on the property. Having a lift really helped especially during check-in and check-out. View was good but limited. Nice sized pool. Few maintenance issues, no tissues provided. A very nice stay overall."
