Cozy and elegant apartment recently renovated with garden, a few steps from Porta Maggiore.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of a 1470 aristocratic mansion built by architect Antonio Morandi (known as Terribilia). It was home to the Accademia del Gelato cultural club and the first private theater in Bologna. It benefits from a Renaissance garden set in a private court of 1,000 square meters, away from noise and traffic. The entrance opens onto the living area furnished with a double sofa bed, a television, a dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen complete with an oven, a kettle and a toaster. The sleeping area features a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, a desk, a closet and an ensuite bathroom with shower, and a second bedroom with a single bed, a desk and a closet. An additional bathroom with a shower completes the layout.
Free wifi, air conditioning and heating are available in the accommodation.
Guests will benefit from an outdoor parking slot inside the property.
The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.
Around 3 km from the apartment there is the central train station while the airport is around 30 minutes away by car.
