"The place was well located but dated: kitchen cabinetry, rooms, common bathroom did not have drainage. Pool was great. Airconditioning old and noisy. Stove top needed to be lit autopilot busted and lowering the heat was tricky. Water shortage happened causing our guests to move to city to shower ..."

We went Canyoneering with a guide and to the kawasan waterfalls. The jumps were scary but totally worth it. Take a guide with you and a taxi, they are not expensive and it is better than public transportation. Locals are friendly.
