"Fascinating architecture -- a textile factory that's been done up. It has exposed ceilings and huge windows. It's clean and the bed is comfortable and the staff are kind and the kitchen was well-equipped, except for the coffee maker. I loath the 'expresso' makers that require a coffee capsule - it's just super-expensive instant coffee that gives you the fake feeling that you're a barista, and the resulting cup is disappointing. "We loved this place so much, we didnt want to leave. It is such a beautiful location, with its own jetty for swimming and canoeing. The apartment is very comfortable, and well maintained. It feels very high end, and well thought out. It's only a 5-10 minute walk into town, with a Netto and Edeka supermarket. Great transport links in both directions too. "Really nice property, well kept and clean throughout. Location is really peaceful, quite some way from any towns or villages. Good communications from hosts and easy to access on arrival. The log burner was a lovely touch too. It's not clear on the listing that the property is upstairs - not a problem for us but would be for anyone with mobility issues.
