"We stayed in the apartment for 10 days and had a lovely time. The place is actually better than the pictures. Nice kitchen, good bathroom, bed were good enough (although might need replacing some tome soon). The balcony is lovely in the morning for breakfast amd the garden is great for drinks and lazing around. Swimming in the lake is great! The only down side was the neighbours macross the road making a noise."

The owner still seems to live here and go somewhere else when guests rent the apartment. It is located in a small neighborhood in Küssaberg and is not far from a large industrial facility. "Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"Eine sehr schöne, modern eingerichtete Wohnung mit allem, was man benötigt. Schlafzimmer und Wohn-Esszimmer großzügig angelegt, Küche und Bad kuschelig aber vollkommen ausreichend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat problemlos auch kurzfristig geklappt, eine Anreise außerhalb der Geschäftszeiten ging ohne Probleme. Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Unterkunft ideal. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. "

"Very clean, great communication with the host. Very well-equipped apartment with good washing machine in basement. Beautiful views over the valley. We enjoyed watching the cows coming and going for milking. Good places nearby to eat. Lots to do in the area for all ages. You can be as active as you like, or rest and enjoy the scenery. Tip: check sleeping arrangements. Our 2 teenager boys were to sleep in a double bed. We took one mattress out and put it on top of a couch, which was fine."
