Left a little to be desired
Although the staff were friendly enough, we were disappointed with the interactions. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed and we arrived three hours late, 1:00 am. We had arranged a pick- up, but when we arrived they had sent a note saying it was too late and they couldn’t get a driver. Although their information says 24-hour pick-up, the registration time is to midnight. We weren’t sure if we should just go to hotel anyway. They didn’t tell us. We caught a cab to an airport area hotel for the night instead. We were still charged for that night. We stayed for three.
There was no tea/coffee service as indicated in their info, though we were able to ask for tea. The food service (you can order meals) was exceptionally slow and the food was mediocre. Breakfast was the same.
There were no maps available, or any tourist information for that matter. They gave us vague directions to the bank because their credit machine wasn’t working either.
If it’s your first time in Bogota, this may not be an ideal place to start. The pictures of the hotel are accurate so we won’t post any.
