"Charming city-style hotel with smaller rooms but centrally located in the heart of Odense. Walking distance to many major attractions incl. H. C. Andersen's Museum, Odense Teater, shopping district, etc. I had a small room with a queen bed. Spent very little time in the room as I was exploring the city for most of my stay. Breakfast buffet was included in my stay, and this turned out to be a feast with all kinds of delicious breads, scrambled eggs, sausages, yoghurts, granolas, nuts, juices....

"This hotel is a classic! It's old-world charm and beauty are meticulously preserved but has all the modern conveniences. It is beautiful and the setting is magnificent. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and ready to meet your every need. The dining was spectacular! I give this stay the highest marks possible. Everything was wonderful."

"Nice, peaceful place. Clean with a nice enough room and mattresses, nice staff and nice breakfast. Didn’t like that on the day we arrived we were told that we couldn’t use the pool, jacuzzi and sauna from 1pm to 5pm and also the following day between 9am and midday because certain groups were using it. That’s 7 hours of no access to the pool and jacuzzi. 3 stars for this. "

One suggestion for improvement would be to update the carpets to eliminate any lingering old carpet smell. Keep in mind that the hotel's location may not be the most convenient; getting around requires a bike or taxi. I opted for taxis to attend the badminton tournament at Jyske Bank Arena, which added up, so...
