"I was in Narvik for a conference. We prefer staying in local apartments rather than the conference hotels. Just gives a better feel for the community. Apartment was as described: clean, compact, near the center of Narvik and close to the University. I rented the apartment over a year before our stay and communication was always prompt and helpful. "Very good hotel, the view is the highlight for sure. The room was clean however the lack of surface space was an issue; with one small table and a kitchenette being the only real areas to put things in the middle of the room away from the door. The bathroom was great and the heated floor was appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful also. All round a great place to stay"

"We ended up staying in a shipping container converted into a room. It was quite small and cramped. The windows were not equipped for wind, and there was constant banging on our windows all night. The place was somewhat hard to find - inadequate instructions. Finally, the place itself feels quite spooky, especially when other people aren’t walking around."
