"The Capertee Valley is stunning, secluded, peaceful and full of wildlife. If you want to rest and enjoy great views while listening to the amazing bird life tis the place for you. If you like bushwalking the endless tracks, some leading into the national park will keep you busy and happy. The hosts Mandy and Jacob are lovely people, well organised and easy to deal with. They have two beautiful young boys and Ryder will tell you everything about their farm or give you space whichever you prefer. The only reason not come is if you want nightlife apart from wombats and Roos . Loved every minute "

The house was absolutely charming, with every detail thoughtfully designed to maximize space and comfort. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting the owner, Olwyn. She was incredibly welcoming and shared fascinating insights into the history of Wolgan Valley and its surroundings, adding a special touch to the experience. The entire experience was peaceful, quiet, and rejuvenating. If you're looking for a serene escape surrounded by nature, this tiny home in Wolgan Valley is a hidden gem. "Historic hotel with 5 fireplaces, superb food, timber bar and just generally a nice family feel, Electric blankets are very warm, sheets crisp and towels very white. Simple breakfast included with nice balconies and north side garden. Went for a short 5 min walk and saw ten kangaroos, Took a great photo of the hotel from the front.but no way to share here. Hope the front balcony damagefrom the wayward car is fixed soon. Finally, we stayed at Royal Capertee on our way to visit the oil shale works and we’re not disappointed with the 2 hour tour."
