Located just 100 yards from the coastal footpath, it allows for effortless exploration of Cornwall from your doorstep. Port Gaverne, with its beach and pub, is only a mile away, making Serenity Ocean View the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility.

The Space:
As you enter Serenity Ocean View you’ll be greeted by a games room, complete with a football table and pool table. The downstairs snug doubles as an office and also provides additional sleeping space with a sofa bed. Nearby, a large sea-view bathroom features a Witt & Berg Antique style copper bateau bathtub and a freestanding shower, perfect for a relaxing soak.

The heart of the home is the large open plan split-level kitchen, designed with a laidback coastal style. Beamed and vaulted ceilings and triple aspect windows flood the space with natural light. The kitchen is equipped with high-specification appliances, including a double range oven, a freestanding Zanussi fridge freezer, an additional fridge, a traditional Belfast sink, a dishwasher, and a microwave. Culinary enthusiasts will appreciate the well-stocked kitchen, which includes plenty of pots and pans, crockery, glassware, a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle, and a four-slice Dualit toaster. A large wooden table with six brightly-coloured seats and a characterful wooden pew bench offers ample dining space. The kitchen also has a back door leading to a slated terrace with a large table, chairs, and a wooden bench, perfect for outdoor dining. Additionally, you can access a further terrace through glass sliding doors.

The living space is ideal for cozy nights in, featuring two large sofas, two armchairs, additional cinema-style seating, a Woodwarm Stove, and a large wall-mounted Smart TV.

Upstairs, the family bathroom boasts a shower over bath with sea views and a separate WC. The master bedroom, full of charm and natural light, features vaulted ceilings with beams and an integrated contemporary ensuite designed in a modern wet room style. Please note this ensuite is part of an open plan space in the master bedroom (i.e there is no door) A bespoke raised king-sized bed, a large freestanding wardrobe, and double doors leading to an impressive balcony complete the space.

The second bedroom contains a king-sized bed and stairs leading to a snug space. Here, guests can relax with two plush bean bags, two additional sofa beds, and a large Smart TV.

Bedroom three is generously sized, offering a king-sized bed and large windows to take in the sea views.

Bedroom four is a twin, also benefiting from stunning sea views.

Outside, a wraparound terrace/deck and a large garden bordered by Cornish stone walls create a picturesque outdoor space. The bubbling hot tub, accessible through patio doors in the open-plan living area, is perfect for soaking in the breathtaking landscape.

The garden also features two sun loungers, outdoor dining furniture for al fresco meals, and a charcoal BBQ. There’s ample parking space for up to four cars.

Guest Access:
The property is self check in using the key box outside the property. You will receive a code within 48 hours of your check in date. You will have the whole property to yourself for the duration of your stay. You won't be sharing with anyone.

The Neighborhood:
Serenity Ocean Views, Lower Hendra is set in an idyllic location with sweeping views of North Cornwall's countryside and coastline. The property is situated close to the coastal footpath, allowing guests to explore Cornwall's natural beauty with ease. Port Gaverne, just a mile away, offers a charming beach and a welcoming pub. The picturesque village of Port Isaac, known for its quaint streets and historic harbor, is only a short drive away and provides a variety of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Tintagel, famous for its castle and Arthurian legends, is also within easy reach.

Port Isaac (Porth Izzick in Cornish) is a bustling village less than 3 miles away, with a quaint flavor of Cornwall’s past. Steeped in history, it features narrow winding lanes and a historic fishing heritage from the 14th century. Visiting is a must, and walking is recommended to avoid parking difficulties.

Port Gaverne sits beside Port Isaac, offering a pretty harbor, rockpools, and enchanting caves. Pilchards cafe serves light bites and drinks, while the Port Gaverne Restaurant features dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.

Trebarwith Strand, about four miles from Serenity Ocean View, Lower Hendra, has a must-visit beach with a unique landscape of large flattish rocks revealed at high tide. The beach is home to many local seabirds, and the area includes two pubs, Port William and The Mill House and The Strand Café.

Tintagel, 6 miles away, is steeped in history and folklore, including the legend of King Arthur. English Heritage’s Tintagel Castle has recently opened its new bridge, offering magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean.
