"Good communication with Christian @ happy home rentals, a large apartment, a 2 seater couch was a shame but ok. we missed ventilators / airco so with 30+ degrees was very uncomfortable in the evenings. Kitchen with fridge / freezer was great. Coffee machine was also good. Beds were comfy and plenty of space for all luggage 👍"

"The penthouse terrace makes this place. The view is stunning, Lago Maggiore simply beautiful. We had a great time at Residenza Vivian. Locarno Center was just a few minutes walk. "Our five days at the apartment was supposed to be rainy but ended up being warm and sunny every day. We loved being able to use the pool and the room was spacious and newly remodeled. The hosts were very accommodating and I enjoyed conversing with them. They provided me with tips on the area too. There was a nice bakery and a cortina restaurant a few minutes walk away. The pretty garden that surrounded the house was an extra bonus."

"Wir waren mit Freunden für 4 Nächte in dem Häuschen untergebracht und waren alle begeistert. Das Haus ist sehr schön dekoriert, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wenn etwas nicht vorhanden ist kann alles in Locarno (10km bergab) gekauft werden. Ascona ist auch eine sehenswerte Stadt die man unbedingt besuchen muss, wenn man dort ist. Am "Hausberg" gibt es tolle Wanderwege die zu wunderschönen Aussichtsplattformen führen (im Haus gibt es Wander-/Fahrradkarten). Wir wussten einmal...

"Wir buchten 2 Schlafzimmer, bekamen aber nur 1 Schlafzimmer. Dadurch war es nur durch Aufbau eines zusätzlichen Bettes für das 8 jährige Kind möglich die Wohnung zu nutzen. Es wart nicht möglich das Wohnzimmer nach 21 Uhr zu nutzen ( Fernseher,Radio ,Internet) ,da das Kind drin schlafen mußte. Wir fordern deshalb auch einen Teilbetrag zurück, da wir für 2 Schlafzimmer bezahlt haben. Senden Sie uns Ihren Vorschlag zur Rücküberweisung. M.f.G. Fam. Sachse"

"We were two couples and loved that it has two bathrooms, comfortable beds, air conditioning, washer and dryer, and beautiful views of Lake Maggiore. Grocery stores are close as well as the Grand Piazza. We were lucky to be there for the outdoor music festival called Moon and Stars. Great food, and people. Not alot of English speaking people, but our phone translator worked great. We fell in love with Locarno and this condo."

Gute Restaurants nur um die Ecke. - Weniger gut ( resp. etwas ekelig) war, dass es keinen Matratzenschoner hatte und das Duvet keinen Deckenbezug hatte. Das Bett war nur mit Bettlaken gebettet. "Amazing view from the dining room, balcony, master bedroom, kitchen and terrace! Gerra beach / Lido is a hidden gem. Worth knowing that the pool is unseated (or cold) at 19 degrees centigrade. Construction site next door was happily not active. Some areas of garden are not child friendly as very steep drop. That all said a a great location and great views. "
