"Very poorly maintained hotel. General smell of mildew. Cleanliness in public areas was awful. No attention to detail such as refinishing the bathroom wall where a plumbing connection had been changed. I had a completely broken closet door in my room and a constantly leaking hair conditioner dispenser in the shower, creating a slimy puddle. The water for the Jacuzzi was a little more than warm but not hot. Breakfast isn't served until 9:00 and the in-room coffee is instant. Would not reccomend."

Sensational Stay

"Had an unbelievable time at Las Dunas. There are two houses on the property, which each have one large bedroom. The main house has a living room with a pull-out and room for someone to sleep on the couch as well. There is an awesome hot tub outside which makes for some great star gazing. The location is spectacular, set high on a hill overlooking the beach. Very serene setting with lots of privacy. It’s a 5 minute walk to La Susanna, which is the best place to party in all of Uruguay. The sunsets there are insane. There’s also a super nice gym/yoga studio within a 5 minute walk and beach access is on the street a stones throw from the house. There’s also a lovely mom and pop breakfast/ coffee spot directly across the street from the house. This is truly a lovely VRBO which I will definitely book again next year. "
