"I cannot express how absolutely gorgeous the property is! My three young adult kids actually gasped when we turned into the driveway and saw the view. Very comfortable home, clean and accommodating and Phil was a great host! The area is quiet and remote but close enough to sites like Peggy's Cover for a day trip. Highly recommend this property!! The only thing we had some confusion over was the laundry situation. Listing states a washer and dryer so we just assumed we could do our own load...

"Excellent rental property in a fantastic location for exploring the Lunenberg area. Beds were extremely comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the sun deck was fantastic. The owner really takes pride in this property, and it shows in all the little and thoughtful attentions to detail. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again."

"Oh, wow! Kinda felt like we were in a Vrbo ad… The house is a beautifully renovated old home just across from the water, and a couple hundred yards from the beach. Beds were luxurious, bookcases of interesting books. The neighbourhood is of older, well looked after houses on a quiet cul de sac on the ocean. Couldn’t be better."

"The Mahone Bay Beach House was the perfect place to start our vacation in Nova Scotia. It is an easy drive from Halifax Airport and immediately welcomed us in to relax on the deck, inhale the fresh coastal air and take in the sounds of the birds and boats in the harbour. The house is just as advertised with all the amenities available and a nice cheery decor. The master bedroom has a terrific view over the water. After a short sunny nap on the deck we walked down the street and had a nice dinner...

"This place was incredible. Lovely decor, unbelievable views from almost every window, and right on the water! It's close to great swimming beaches, and we enjoyed checking out "The Ovens", Rose Bay General Store, and Hirtles Beach! Some wonderful meals in Lunenberg (the Beach Pea was awesome!) and Mahone Bay (Oh my Cod!). An amazing family vacation with lots to see and do in the area."

"Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. We spent countless pleasant hours watching the tides change the view … scanned the ocean with binoculars looking for the whales folks see occasionally. A few excited moments at dusk when we caught sight of several whales waaaaay out – okay, turned out be distant shoals but what fun! Enjoyed long walks … to...

"The house was perfect for our family trip (2 adults, teen, and tween). The location was an easy drive to several places we wanted to visit, and an overall beautiful setting. The house was very well-appointed with everything we needed including things we didn't know we needed! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Hosts had great communication for check-in and left a whole host of information about the house and area to make our trip very enjoyable."

"Lovely property. Exactly as advertised. A few suggestions for Mr. Noblett to consider. The dining chairs should be retightened after each visit as a few chairs were awfully wobbly. Because we were a party of 5 women over the age of 60 the amount of toliet paper was insufficient. We left him a pack. If choosing to use white towels, they should be bleached on some sort of regular rotation. Some looked decidedly dingy. Otherwise Tilley Cove House was an absolutely a wonderful spot to vacation."
