"The Sanctuary offered a beautiful, peaceful, and thoroughly enjoyable weekend. The space was clean and very comfortable. The hosts were responsive and very welcoming. We loved sitting by the lake and enjoying the peaceful quiet and beautiful views of the property and mountains. We will definitely be staying here again! "

"This is a nice little property and was a great value for our weekend in Hendersonville. The kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings were comfortable for lounging. And the apartment felt quite private even though it was attached to an occupied house. Thank you for a great stay! "

"The property itself was very nice, clean and in a good location. The halfway house across the street was not an issue. Our stay was challenging but due to no fault of the owners. We were there in the middle of the hurricane. We had no power, water and cell service most of the stay. We were able to make the best of it but left early to get out of the area while we could. "

"We enjoyed exploring the River Arts District, New Belgium Brewery, and attending 2 concerts at the Salvage Station. We were also able to go for a 3 mile run along the river. We loved this VRBO! Be warned, you need to climb stairs to bet to the unit. Also, the air conditioning unit is much too noisy. Earplugs might help. "

"The place was well appointed and clean. The king size bed was fabulous! However, if you don’t like stairs, noise and no yard for your dog, don’t stay here. It’s by a hospital so lots of ambulances and helicopters. There is also someone in the neighborhood with a really loud motorcycle. Lots of road noise. There are earplugs and a sound machine but it was no match. The hot water takes a long time to come on so you end up washing with cold water. There are thirteen pretty steep stairs to get to...

"Appears to be under renovation. No one was at the counter upon arrival. Two phone numbers posted on the door to call for assistance. No one answered the primary number and someone answered the second number as did not offer any assistance. Great place to stay on a budget!

"GREAT location, friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms. The indoor pool is really a hidden gem at this hotel! Best indoor pool I think I've ever seen. My kids LOVE to swim, so we always try to stay at a place with an indoor pool, but the vast majority of them are just your average square pool in a room. This pool has a waterfall, a little "grotto" to swim around, and the hot tub is up on a platform in a "rock" formation. Front desk staff was very friendly. We did not try the restaurant. Bathrooms were sparkling clean, which is a must for me. My only complaint, and I know this may sound petty, but I had to find something to complain about - the sink in the room was this seashell shape and it's totally flat on the bottom. So when you're brushing your teeth or doing anything in the sink, the toothpaste/whatever doesn't go down the drain. It just kindof languishes in the sink. I hate that. The location cannot be beat. Less than 1 mile from the main "strip," and the Log Cabin pancake house is a 5-minute walk away, if that's your thing. I'm so glad I found this little hotel and can't wait to go back! "

Hampton Inn Gatlinburg Historic Nature Trail

"It is easily walkable to the main street in Gatlinburg and to the shops that are located there. There is also a very nice local park within 100 yards or so of the hotel. That park gave us a nice place to walk our dogs. Of course, we picked up after them. The hotel is pet friendly."
