FULLY FURNISHED RUSTIC LOG CABIN ON TROUT STREAM w/ WIFI

Wet a line from your back deck! This trout angler's paradise, located on the banks of famous Fightingtown Creek, has all the comforts of home. They don't build 'em this close to the water anymore!

NO PETS. Sleeping up to 4 people on queen beds.This 1 bedroom, 1 full bath cabin has a large sleeping loft, with 2 queen beds, overlooking the spacious living room with cathedral ceiling & wood-burning fireplace. Master Bedroom has a queen bed, as well. A large upper deck w/gas grill, porch swing, rocking chairs, dining table with umbrella, and HOT TUB!!! Also, enjoy the splendor of the creek from the lower level deck that extends out over the trout stream!! DISH Satellite TV/DVD/VCR, central heat & air, Hot Tub, Dryer only.

This cabin is located directly beside the trout fishing stream.

Relax in the jetted hot tub while overlooking a private view of the clear rambling stream, rhododendrons, mountain laurel & open sky. No cabins across stream!! VERY PRIVATE! Not a hot tub person? Sit back in rocking chairs or swing while listening to the rushing water over the mountain rocks.

This cozy retreat comes with a 2 story woodburning stone fireplace.

This is a true rustic log cabin, tastefully decorated, with all amenities. Open dining area. Kitchen has breakfast bar with 2 barstools. Kitchen is fully furnished, even for the gourmet cook! Both Keurig and coffee pot coffee makers. Don't enjoy cooking? Catering is available either delivered to the door, or cooked at the cabin. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Many recreational activities year round include: white water rafting (all levels),float (tubing) the Toccoa river, fishing, boating on Lake Blue Ridge (approximately 4 miles-boat rentals available), antique shopping, Scenic Railway Rides (3 miles-Downtown Blue Ridge), horse back riding, biking, hiking, golf and more!

Great creek side cabin
My husband and I stayed for three days/ nights and loved it. So peaceful with the rocking chairs on the deck. My husband had to pull me away from there every night. I could have stayed on that porch listening to the creek ripples all the time. It rained the last night we were there but it didn’t dampen our enthusiasm for the cabin. We stayed dry and cozy. Was only able to stay one night due to family emergency but enjoyed our brief stay. Cabin was very clean and well stocked! Love the porch with rocking chairs and swing. Would definitely love to go back again!

Beautiful cabin
We have never been to Blue Ridge before and we were excited for the autumn cabin experience. We loved the cabin iteelf- the creek running beside it was so peaceful! Check in was easy and cabin was fully equipped. We had a great time and Mercier orchards was so close to us! We came home with apple everything!

Exceptional Cabin
Exceptional. Wonderful property, exactly as described. I feel like a good friend saw my husband and I getting a bit frazzled, and offered us their place to go and relax and unwind. Like other reviewers we spent most of our time on the porch, reading and watching the water. We also had dinner outside, just a spectacular fall scene (although I am sure any season would be beautiful). The cabin itself is exactly what one would imagine when imagining the perfect cabin, The decor was perfect, adding to its charm. Additionally, the cabin was well appointed, everything we needed to prepare meals, coffee, etc. This was helpful because we did not want to leave once we arrived. The driveway was not difficult to maneuver if you followed the directions thoughtfully provided by the property owner. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing a natural, peaceful, relaxing retreat. You will not be disappointed. Thanks to Julie for sharing her little piece of heaven, it really is a piece of heaven, and we were blessed to enjoy it.

The stay was wonderful. The view off the back deck was amazing. The cabin was tucked away and cozy. But also an easy drive to orchards and other shopping. We loved it. Be sure the follow the directions about the driveway and you’ll be fine.

We booked this cabin for our Honeymoon as soon as we had our wedding date set. We fell in love with being able to have coffee on the porch over looking the creek. I would highly recommend staying here if you need to reset yourself.

Great view of the trout stream. Just minutes away from downtown Blue Ridge. Quiet little house with a lot cabin feel. Mrs. Shelton made it easy to access the property and kept in contact all the way up to check in.

Amazing Location
The cabin was clean and the location was perfect. Listening to the creek while swinging on the covered porch was the highlight of our trip. My husband went fly fishing right out front and caught several trout. The owners were amazing hosts, highly recommend! We will be back!!

The cabin was great. You don’t realize what “right on the river” means until you get there and walk on the back porch. The cabin was clean and Julie was easy to work with. The driveway does take some maneuvering but you get the hang of it. Drive into Blue Ridge was easy and the town had a lot to do. We would definitely return!

Absolutely LOVED this cabin. The interior was great and a comfortable stay but our favorite part were the porches, the stream, the view. Absolutely relaxing. Spent lots of time drinking coffee, reading and enjoying breakfast out on the porch. We were truly sad to leave. Only thing I would say needs improvement is the driveway. Needs paving. We followed instructions to the tee but still found it moderately difficult to navigate.

Very peaceful
All in all very nice. Friend didnt care for all the spider webs on porch where we stayed 90% of the time. Not many spiders though just webs. Which comes with the surroundings. Bonus to webs is it catches bugs. Looking for outlets to plug accessories in big dust bunnies behind upstairs dresser an such but overall everything was clean. Driveway wasn't what i was used to a lil intimidating at first but my Toyota rav took it like a pro. Would of liked more trash cans for our 9 day stay. We put all household trash in the one can provided and bagged our beer can/bottles next to after taking one load off to a local mining/golf place after we googled dump which was too far for what our agenda was. They didnt mind us dumping the bags we had in there dumpster. We enjoyed the hot tub every day before or after every adventure we had. Perfect location for a peaceful getaway seeing deer almost every day going in and out and the creek was even more peaceful. Even got to see a couple big fish last few days. Thanks so much.
