The Ellewood, a modern mountain chalet

10 miles from downtown Blue Ridge, you'll enjoy your very own mountain top. Huge 10 person hot tub, fire pit, outdoor pool table, shuffleboard, Buck Hunter, Golden Tee, Home Gym - there is something for everyone here. With its striking  mountain modern design, this house has everything you need for an amazing and memorable getaway.  FULLY stocked kitchen, the basics for kids, double decker porch - these hosts have thought of everything. 

The Ellewood is great for groups, and for extra large groups, inquire about booking sister-property located 100 yards away, the Weswood A Frame.

All bedrooms have room darkening curtains, memory foam mattresses, and comfy bedding and pillows.

Bedroom 1 - Main Level Master with en-suite spa bathroom
Bedroom 2 - Terrace Level Master with en-suite bathroom
Bedrooms 3&4 - Level 2 bedrooms with queens, connected by 'Jack and Jill' bath
Bedroom 5 -Terrace Level four built-in in queen bunks each with a lamp and plug. Dedicated full bath.

Kitchen - fully equipped kitchen which would make any chef envious. Beverage fridge, coffee maker, Nespresso Vertuo espresso maker, plenty of plates, silverware, large variety of pots, pans, servingware, food processor, blender, hand mixer, toaster, cheese board and knives, crock pot. No dull knives.

2 indoor living areas - both living areas include comfortable sectional seating and large smart TVs. The main level living area has gas fireplace and glass sliders that open the length of the room for enjoying the outdoors. The terrace level living area is game central with arcade games (Big Buck Hunter and Golden Tee), various board games and the most comfortable couch you may have every sat on.

Loft - the 12' shuffleboard table is in the loft, along with a table for games and puzzles. The window seat or couch are perfect for enjoying a book. Loft couch does pull out to a full bed.

Outdoor Living Area - screened in porch with TV, pool table/dining table, wood burning fire place with gas starter (firewood provided), gas heaters, and bar window with kitchen access.

Downstairs Deck - Extra Large hot tub - room for 10 people

Fire Pit - built in fire pit with the best mountain views. Play a little life-sized Jenga or Connect 4. Marshmallow sticks provided.

Workspace - desk, office chair, large monitor with HDMI cord, wifi is sufficient for video calls, wireless keyboard and mouse. Workspace is located in a common space (Level 2/loft).

Home Gym - TV, treadmill, 5-50 lbs weights, ballet barre, yoga mats

Kid Friendly Accoutrements- 2 high chairs, 1 pack n' play with mattress and bedding, 1 toddler blow up bed, kid cups, bibs, silverware, gate blocking lower stairs, plug covers, games and toys for <5.

Absolutely amazing stay
This property is beautiful, and the hosts really thought of everything. We had a fully stocked kitchen, and all of the rooms were amazing. I could not have asked for a better cabin to enjoy Blue Ridge.

We rented this cabin for our wedding party to stay at before our wedding. This cabin was perfect! The views were incredible, everyone was comfortable, we loved playing Big Buck Hunter in the game room, and the screened in porch with built in heaters was amazing! We would absolutely book this cabin again! My groom's mom rented the A Frame cabin next door amd was perfectly located for her to come spend time with us!

Great Property
House was beautiful and clean. Has all high end appliances and everything you would ever need during your stay. We hired a chef (Him and Her Catering) for a few nights and he was thrilled with kitchen and cooked some fabulous meals for our family. Communication with the Property Manager was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this property.

INCREDIBLE house!
This house is absolutely amazing and stunning!!! Had the best time and would HIGHLY recommend to all to come check out. The owners where quick to respond and super helpful. Everything about this house is stunning- from the chef's kitchen, the great outdoor space, décor, and finishes all throughout the house. The house came stocked with everything- and we greatly appreciate it!!! Will absolutely be renting this house again!

Perfect Mountain Getaway for Our Family Vacation!
Our recent family vacation in the mountains was nothing short of amazing, and a big part of that was the incredible house we stayed in. The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect spot for relaxation. The views from the house were breathtaking, with the mountains serving as the perfect backdrop for our mornings and evenings. We loved waking up to the crisp, fresh air and sipping coffee on the deck while taking in the stunning scenery. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and cozy living spaces where we could gather as a family. Mountainside Home Paradise
Spectacular! This is a perfectly designed and decorated home with all the amenities for a family getaway. The rooms and beds couldn’t have been more cozy and comfortable. Located in the mountains for privacy but yet close enough for an easy drive into town. The hosts were fantastic and very responsive to any and all questions or recommendations. First class in every aspect! We will definitely return and look forward to our next stay!

ELLENWOOD AND A FRAME
We all rented the 2 houses that are walking distance of ea h other. The a frame is more of an overflow home. The main house was amazing. These were probably the best bunk beds ever! The owners communication was spot on and very fast. There are no Tvs in the bedrooms which makes tv time a group activity. The kitchen wax immaculate. Probably could have used an extra range. Theres nothing not to lo e about this house. The only thing was the gravel road to get uo to the house. Besides that, i would definitely book this again next year!

This is a MUST Stay!
Everything about this home is top notch. There was absolutely everything we needed, the view is incredible and the beds are comfier than mine at home! This home is exactly as the pictures show…PURE LUXURY! No one wanted to leave! We look forward to coming back!
