This cabin in the woods is the perfect vacation getaway. It’s peaceful and there are plenty of outdoor activities. Unwind in the comfortable living room after a full day of adventure. Turn on the TV to watch a favorite movie or take advantage of the complementary board games available. For those looking for even more friendly competition, a pool table is available. When hunger strikes, make use of the well-appointed kitchen. Outside, kick back on the deck and take advantage of the grill. In the mornings, sip coffee on the front porch swing. And spend evenings gathered around the firepit.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great home. Great location.
Everything about our stay was perfect for us. Although the wifi wasn’t the strongest, it worked out perfectly for a few extra rounds of scrabble for my husband and I. It was a cozy experience for us, our kids, and our dogs. The floor boards do creak quite a bit which can be scary with young toddlers at bedtime BUT our sound machine drowned out most of it and worked out great! We would absolutely return again.

Great place at a great price!
My wife and I wanted a quick getaway to north GA and this place worked out perfectly. The place was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck, large open living area and playing pool. We had a question one night around 8:00pm and someone texted us back within minutes. We’ll be back, for sure.

Birthday break
My 16 year old son wanted to visit Blue Mountain Ridge for his birthday. The cabin was the perfect place for our family quiet, comfortable, and good variety of games in the cabin. Although the WIFI was not good, it gave us time to bond with him. The cabin is also located close to activities, that we enjoyed as a family. We will definitely visit again.

Exactly what we wanted
We spent a few nights here and absolutely loved it. It had space for 3 adults, two kids, and two dogs and we never felt as if there wasn’t enough space. The property was very clean and very relaxing. We sat around the dining room table and played many games together. (some we brought and some were there) The front porch was great to sit and enjoy a coffee in the morning or a drink at night. The back deck with the fire pit made for a great night making s’mores. We look forward to booking this property in the future!

Great for a larger family
Family rm looks bigger than picture. Pool table was a real treat especially its location on main floor in family rm. Kitchen had plenty of cooking items to cook for a large family. Oven was dirty inside unless it is permanent and ice maker wasn't working. Huge deck is great for relaxing around a fire or eating outside. I wished leaves were blown off deck before arrival. Property was easily accessible, a short distance from a less-traveled road.

Quiet ok place
Carpets need cleaning badly. Not many utensils for cooking. Needs Dawn dish liquid, not cheap Palmolive. It's on a pretty traveled road and potholes will swallow you up so be careful with your vehicles. Beds aren't very comfy but they'll do.

Fantastic country cabin
We loved the cabin, it was homey and had lots of activities available. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit one evening. The inside fireplace didn’t work even though it had instructions. A person to come and fix it was offered, but we decided to do without as it was seasonably warm while we were there. The next time we will have to come with family and enjoy the pool table and games! The cabin was well stocked with everything we could have needed! It was a great time.

BOOK IT
The cabin was amazing. Very clean and neat. It is fully stocked with blankets and towels and any other linen you may need to keep warm. The firepit is fully functional and the owners have wood at your disposal, we did have to buy Firestarter and other supplies to get the fire going, but when you're done all you do is cover the pit and that's it! There's tons of fun boardgames for the entire family too. Beware tho Google maps will give you problems right before you arrive at the cabin because the location pin is placed in another part of the map. But if you continue straight you will find a sign leading you straight up to the cabin. There are two immediate neighbors who are very nice. But if you're taking any pets do not leave them unattended outside because one of the neighbors let's their big dog roam on it's own, and sometimes it will even come up to your door. When we left we noticed that one of the dogs might have tried to come into the house because the front door was scratched and peed. Anyways, we rented this cabin to spend NYE and celebrate as a family and that's exactly what we did. We loved our stay and we recommend 100%

Nightmare Experience
Ironically, We were not given any access codes to the rental until after 7 PM Friday. And the codes were not the correct ones.when I finally got them! i was not going to drive several hours to the rental without being given proper access info, so we waited to leave later and we arrived trying to get into the rental at 1 AM instead at 4 PM on Friday. It’s dark driving up a mountain at 1 AM. We arrived to a rental w no running water to kitchen, bathrooms, no toilets, no showers. At first early Friday I was not given access codes as they needed to do an identity check from a strange mysterious number that VRBO never confirmed was the contact info of the rental. Being that I reserved my rental was through VRBO, I should have had continuity between the hosts VRBO to direct numbers especially in a day where there is cell phone cloning and identity scams, I was never able to confirm that the ppl on the phone text had any connection w my reservation w VRBO other than them claiming they were Vacasa but any clone number would do the same. I received no access codes even though we completed an identity through the phone number VRBO gave for Vacasa customer service until after 7 PM. Ironically the text even said we could get early arrival but we could not even get access info the day before. I spent many hours contacting the host, VRBO and Vacasa instead of enjoying my trip in the rental. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE w no response on the concerns!!!

Cozy Mountain Cabin Getaway
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property for a long Fall Break weekend! The cabin was clean and had amazing views of the surrounding woods. Our only recommendation would be for the hosts to upgrade/fine-tune their internet service since the signal would go in and out at certain points of the trip, even after a reset. But all in all it was a wonderful family weekend at the cabin!
