Limelight Cottage is a quaint 1943 downtown Blue Ridge cottage! Located on a quiet street, one block from the Black Sheep restaurant, it’s only a short walk to downtown’s shops, bars, restaurants and more! Conveniently located to other areas in the North Georgia mountains like Aska, Lake Blue Ridge, Blairsville, and McCaysville. Only a short drive to the Tri-State area, Horseshoe Bend Park, Toccoa River, Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino, and many orchards and wineries. So many fun activities to walk to: Escape Blue Ridge, The Art Center, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and much more! The home has been completely updated and renovated. Two master suites: a King bedroom with full bathroom (shower) and a Queen bedroom with full bathroom (tub/shower combo). Could potentially sleep additional kids in living area, if you bring your own air mattress or if someone wants to sleep on the sofa (not a pull out). Front porch offers a relaxing seating area to sit and talk while back patio has ample seating around the fire pit. Completely updated kitchen, including Keurig for coffee, so don't forget your pods! Enjoy the kitchen dining or eat in the sun room, overlooking the patio and backyard. Gas grill on back patio. Lots to see and do in the Blue Ridge Mountains!

The limelight cottage was perfect for our family. Close walk to town, great open floor plan, clean and Tiffany was super responsive and helpful with things to see and do. Will definitely stay here again.

Blue Ridge Convenient Cottage
Cottage was two blocks from downtown Blue Ridge. We drove downtown because of steep walk to downtown. The cottage was very nice, peaceful. Downtown Blue Ridge is great for shopping, restaurants and the Scenic Blue Ridge train.

Limelight cottage stay
Great place if you want convenience to downtown. One block off of city park and railroad station. It is very close to restaurants and shopping downtown. The only drawback is that the kitchen is very bare on utensils and items needed to prepare meals. There was also no bath soap available.

Great location for walking about town!
Cute bungalow close to downtown. Walk to restaurants and shopping. The jail is across the street, however, it was not an issue. Our second time to stay here and we had a great time!

Cozy Little Cottage
Great location. Easy walk to shops and restaurants downtown. Neat town all decorated for Christmas. There was even a Christmas tree in the house, which we enjoyed relaxing by in the evenings. Will have to come back and experience a Blue Ridge Summer.

Quaint place with great location to Blue Ridge
Our stay here was absolutely great and we would recommend it. The unit is easy to find, clean, and has a well layed out floorplan. It is in walking distance to downtown Blue Ridge. We never used our car the entire weekend. If walking, know there are some steep but short roads down into BR from the unit. Host is responsive and a pleasure. Beds were comfy. A great place!

Limelight Cottage is a delightful retreat in the charming town of Blue Ridge. Just a five minute walk from the train depot, shops and restaurants, it provides a clean, modern and cozy home base for a relaxing escape. Well outfitted with amenities, you will not find a nicer location for your next adventure to north Georgia.

In town getaway
It was fun, we like to stay in town and this home was that. Kids enjoyed the games and the backyard. The neighbors big dog snuck up on us in backyard and scared us on one of the days. Location is across street from jail but we felt safe with police constantly around.

The cabin was nicely decorated and updated. Very convenient to downtown. Loved the fire pit. We were 3 ladies on a girls trip and we felt very safe. The landscaping and flowers were beautiful. The floor going into the bedrooms had a small step up that was always causing us to stubble and stub our toes. Definitely needs to be even with the other floor. A rotted patio umbrella barely hanging from a stand was an eyesore and unsafe. We would stay in Limelight cottage again. It was a pleasant getaway.

Blue Ridge Vacation after vacation
My wife and I were very impressed and pleased with the Limelight Cottage. We stay at VRBO properties quite often on our vacations now in retirement. We felt this property was one of, if not the best, we have stayed in. It was neat and clean and had everything we needed. Everything worked in the rental. The info in the cottage was very helpful and informative. They location was outstanding . We would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again.

Blue Ridge, GA Road Trip 2023
The Cottage was lovely and much more spacious than I thought it would be from the photos. We totally enjoyed the cozy fireplace and our trips to the Main Street area with all the shops and restaurants. We took the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, ate at Margo's Polish Kitchen, Southern Charm, Black Sheep and Serenity Garden Cafe during our stay. We, of course, stopped at Three Sisters on Main St for Fudge and Hucks for stuff we just couldn't live without. We also went to Mercier's Orchard for all things apple even wine! Our adventure took us leaf peeping up to Murphy, NC and over Blood Mtn to Helen, GA for some wonderful German food at the Hofbrauhaus and on down to visit Three Sister's Vinyards and Winery on the Dahlonega plateau. Staying at the cottage was a pleasure!

Perfect stay!
Visiting Blue Ridge with old friends on a girlfriend getaway. This place was absolutely perfect. Great layout, wonderful kitchen, and for 3 women it was perfect with the two bedrooms each with their own bath. The third bath was an awesome addition! While it is true that it is a short walk to downtown, it is down a pretty steep hill. So going is no problem, but coming back you have to be prepared to walk up a pretty steep incline. We’re no spring chickens, so that was a little challenging. :) The only negative was that it was literally across the street from the jail. But I guess other than optics, that wasn’t really a negative because there were a lot of police cars parked directly across the street. So probably made the place very safe! All in all, a great stay and responsive hosts. Highly recommend.

Just perfect
We came to Blue Ridge to have a girls weekend & celebrate my best friend turning 50. I wanted a place that was walking distance to shops and restaurants and big enough we didn't feel on top of each other. This quaint house met all of our expectations & Tiffany even gave some suggestions to celebrate. Communication was great and we had no issues at all. We wanted to play cards in the evening and we forgot ours but there were not only cards but other games as well. We only watched TV one morning while we ate breakfast. Everything was clean and we were not without anything. It did take us a day to find the extra hand towels (someone placed them all in one bathroom drawer) but we managed. I sat outside on the back patio one morning drinking my coffee and was entertained by a little rabbit eating. Loved the back yard. We cam during the hot summer months but this place would be fabulous to enjoy during the winter months. We are definitely keeping this house on our rental list for the next time we come.
