Swim or kayak right from the water's edge at high tide and beach-comb at low tide!
Rent kayaks (Delivered right to the property from The Activity Shop) where you can easily launch them right from the property and explore the calm waters of Blue Hill Bay.
Sun filled rooms are beautifully decorated with tasteful, comfortable furnishings.
A spacious gourmet kitchen will please the most discerning of chefs with dual Viking wall convection ovens and a 5 burner cooktop and 2 dishwashers. Granite counters along with many fine details will make your cooking and baking a joy.

Day and evening talks and programs are offered all season long by many prominent authors and musicians at the Blue Hill library as well as other near-by venues like Kneisel Hall and the Surry Barn.
Hike Blue Hill Mountain where the breathtaking views stretch from the hills of Camden to Acadia National Park. (Trail head can be accessed across the street)
Enjoy Blue Hill's Kneisel Hall (Founded by violinist Franz Kneisel in 1902) known as "the cradle of Chamber music in America". It has provided musicians the opportunity to immerse themselves in the chamber repertoire. Weekly Chamber Music concerts are offered by world-renowned faculty and guest artists.
Acadia National Park is our crown jewel and not to be missed. Enjoy magnificent 45 miles of Carriage Road Trails and 150 miles of wonderful hiking trails at the Bar Harbor 'and' Schoodic Peninsula locations. Be mesmerized by the breathtaking views atop the summit of not only Cadillac Mountain (The highest peak on the Eastern U.S.) but the many other mountain summits that have a 360 degree views. Cadillac Mountain is where the sun first rises in the Continental U.S.
Mount Desert Island is where the main part of Acadia National Park is located. (Hulls Cove/Bar Harbor) There are trails and mountain hikes for every age and ability, then enjoy a meal in Bar Harbor or in one of the neighboring charming villages that dot the Island. Enjoy the freshest lobster and fish in most villages and towns.
Try Whale watching or enjoy a boat ride; which include Lighthouses, Nature cruises, lobster boat cruises, sailboats. Experience Somes Sound, Maine's fjord or take a plane ride from the Bar Harbor airport and see the amazing views of the Acadia region, visit a world class auto museum or one of the many other small museums and galleries showcasing our heritage and history.

Harbor House is on Main Street in the charming village of Blue Hill and offers lots of privacy. Property has a sloping grassy area to the water, surrounded by terraced stone walls. The setting is similar to a lovely botanical garden where things are in bloom all season long.
As much as we love pets, we do not permit them at Harbor House.

We are now offering 'instant booking' however, we like to know a bit about our guests as we want to make sure we are the right fit for you as we want you to have a wonderful time visiting the Blue Hill/Acadia National Park region.
Once you have reserved your week(s), we will be contacting you 'directly' as VRBO will release your personal email address to us.
We require a signed rental agreement. This will include the property address, our names, what our responsibilities are to you, payment due dates, etc.
Should you ever have a problem or concern (before or during your visit) we are available from 8:00 AM - 10 PM , 7 days a week. We have a great team and will help address things as quickly as possible.
