Great Cabin
Cozy cabin on the lake with a hottub couldn't get better. Owners were great on top of anything you needed. I would highly recommend this cabin to everbody i know.

This was a great cabin with a great location. My only regret is not staying longer. We loved the easy lake access and the bed was comfortable. We were able to relax and unwind to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary.

Great getaway
My husband and I enjoyed getting away from work and the kids so we could reconnect and recharge for the New Year. The cabin provided everything we needed and the location was fantastic and close by Top of The Rock and Dogwood Canyon. We absolutely adore Missouri and this area never disappoints no matter the time of year.

We had a great time in this cabin. Water is very close by for fishing. We were able to enjoy many towns around and then return to the quiet. The owners are precious, including their dogs. Great place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We noticed that it was quiet at night, no noises from cars or the nearby lake. The lake is a short walk from the house with a lighted path for night strolls. We were pleased with the property.

The cabin was perfect. It was clean and the decor was very tasteful. The road getting to the cabin was very rough. If I had known that I may not have chosen it. We enjoyed our time anyway.

Birthday weekend
The cabin was cozy and right on the lake. We enjoyed the private setting and the hot tub in the evenings. Kitchen is stocked with just about everything you need to prepare a meal. The hosts checked in with us shortly after we arrived which was nice, we didn’t need them for anything but feel sure they would have taken care of any requests we might have made. Overall a nice place for a get-a-way.

Ultimate Vacation Cabin
Many wonderful touches throughout this charming cabin, from artistic folds of the towels to chilled mugs in the freezer. Everything you need wherever you look - private hot tub and private lakeshore access. S'mores ingredients provided for you. The host is very responsive and will tend to your needs. The only downside was the amount of chore-like tasks involved for how steep the host fees are. We forgot to write an entry about our stay due to worrying about the task list. Otherwise, very lovely and accommodating.

11/10 for a Honeymoon getaway!!!
We're newlyweds & in the beginning we weren't even planning on going on a honeymoon. Both 35 yrs old & havnt been on a actual vacation since our teens.Started talking a few months back on a honeymoon & stumbled across this cabin kind of by accident. Within 24 hrs we had booked a whole week away & didn't even know what we were doing haha.This place blew our expectations completely out of the water!The minute we walked in we were greeted with the most cozy/warm welcoming ever. From the rustic feel to the cute decor, it is just perfect.It almost felt unreal for how cute, neat, clean, & just perfect the cabin is. You couldn't paint a more perfect picture than what this place truly is. We enjoyed it all, Sitting in front of the fireplace with a cup of coffee in the morning, relaxing on the deck just admiring mother nature, walking down to the lake & watching the ducks, geese, deer, squirl, & we had a pair of bald eagles. It felt like heaven along the lake. The hot tub is beyond a added bonus. 5 nights out of six we relaxed in the tub for countless hours. One during rain even. Talk about pure relaxation & zero worries. The cabin offers absolutely everything you will need and then some. It truly was a home away from home. I could ramble about this place for hours.It really is heaven on earth. We cannot say thank you enough for sharing your special place with us. The memories made will forever last a lifetime. Thank you so very much. Mr & Mrs Schmith.

It would have been a nice stay buuuuttt.........
We were super excited for this stay and the cabin is really nice and the cabin itself was well taken care of but our two full days we were there it was super rainy and cold. The cabin was pretty cold inside because there wasn't any firewood set up for us to use. By the time we needed and wanted it, the wood pile outside was soaked and unusable, so that was disappointing. Being out of towners, we were not expecting so much rain or for it to be so cold (and I checked the weather quite often leading up to the stay). It would have been nice for as much as we paid for our stay that the people responsible for the property would have thought ahead and prepared for that as they are locals and should have been familiar with the weather and what their guests would have needed. It was a great thing that the cabin was on the lake, but during a small patch of no rain, we tried to take a walk down by the lake and it definitely could have been more manicured. The weeds were too high for me to comfortably walk through. All and all, the cabin was nice, the owners met us outside upon arrival and seemed like nice folks but there could have been a few touches to make our stay more comfortable, again especially for the amount we paid. We felt like we drove 8 hours for nothing.... We could have just taken days off, stayed inside our house, and did the same thing we did in the cabin just with some heat. Also, our best friends Facetimed while we were there, initially they were impressed by the cabin and wanted to book a few days for May, but hearing after our stay went, they decided not to. Big disappointment.... :(

Relaxing Stay
This property was perfect for just the two of us. Kitchen had the bare minimums but we made it work. Beautiful view of the lake down the pathway and deer would come up in the evenings.
