"Owners/hosts made us very welcome and on hand to help when required. Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "

"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"The cottage itself is well equipped with quality furnishings and equipment. Put together thoughtfully and stylishly by the charming owners. Unfortunately there is no green outdoor space as it's built on the gravel driveway entrance to the owners house, close to the local urban road and a main road. We went into the owners garden once to use their pool and were warmly welcomed. Overall this is a fabulous option for overnight stays or if you plan to be out driving every day. "The pictures don’t do the property justice, we were a couple who went with our three dogs. The Gite was spacious and had all the amenities you would need, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden is enclosed, perfect for reactive dogs, the pool area is gated off. The garden has a bbq, and a number of games. The family running the Gite were welcoming, and let us have our privacy. "Super comfortable, well equipped home in a picturesque setting very close to the Loire. We had a brilliant week here in this lovely family home. There is a heated pool, pretty gardens and great BBQ. A particular highlight is the brilliant, well equipped kitchen. It is the owner’s home, so the house has everything you might need for a comfortable holiday.
