Girls trip
My best friend and I came for a girls weekend. We liked that it’s close to Bloomington and Nashville and was still out in the country away from all the craziness. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of walking around Nashville. We will definitely be staying again.

The property was amazing. The peace and quite was very much there. The room was amazing. We spent most of the time in the room or in the hot tub. It was a little staycation for me and the wife. 10/10 recommended.

We really enjoyed the location and the hot tub. We feel like the property could use a deep cleaning between the walls and the ceiling and the vents. Better mattresses would have improved our stay.

Relaxing Getaway!
We enjoyed our stay at this property and had everything we needed to be able to fully unplug and focus on each other. Peter was responsive and so accommodating in every way! The only suggestion we would have is to monitor the chlorine levels in the hot tub. My partner and I unfortunately had mild chlorine burns from the chlorine levels and it dried our skin out a bit, but other than that everything was great! We will be back in the future!

Peter built a real nice property. We only stayed for one night but it's the perfect place for a trip to Bloomington or Nashville, clean, and comfortable. Will stay again.

Beautiful area and accommodations. 5 stars.
We stayed in the larger cabin and was very impressed with everything. Very clean and modern accommodations. Peter and Glenda went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was very modern and clean. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in this area. Price was very reasonable as well. We will definitely be back.

We were able to get away from the hustle and bustle of work and responsibilities. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and the proximity to Bloomington and Nashville. It was far enough from both that we still felt the quiet of the country. Owner was so friendly, welcoming, and gave us a quick tour of everything to make sure everything met our needs!

When we arrived the cleaning crew was just leaving. The inside was adorable and cozy. The temperature of the rooms were perfect. It was very clean and organized. Lots of board games. The hot tub was perfect. I highly recommend this rental!

Secluded....private....and peaceful
We enjoyed our stay here so much that we stayed a second night. It was nice because we rented out the room during the weekday and no one else was there. It was just what we needed to unplug....destress...and relax for two nights. The hot tub was very clean and nice. We were able to relax out there and watch the sunset and the fireflies. If you want something secluded and private and relaxing....I would highly recommend. The owner is super nice and easy to work with....very accommodating. Would come back again in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything.

We enjoyed the peace & quiet. Each morning we saw wild turkeys while relaxing in the hot tub. One thing is you don't have control over the thermostat to the room tho. It was a bit stuffy when we arrived, but I informed the owners, and they sent someone over and turned the AC on very quickly. I think it is priced according, but one snag was I was charged extra $50 from a 3rd party for using Expedia app. Not the owners fault. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay there.

Had potential...
This rental was actually the first disappointing rental I've had through Homeaway. Let me start with the good -- it is definitely remote - and the setup is actually pretty nice. You have a bedroom, bathroom and kitchnette area. They have a continental breakfast, which is a nice touch. The hot tub looked very nice- it was hot weather wise when I visited, so I didn't want to get in. While I believe there are people that are on the top level (saw a couple of cars) - I never heard of saw anyone. Nice seating outside was cozy and a peaceful way to relax outside. For opportunities - to start, the email I received a week or so prior to arriving didn't tell me how to actually check in. I found that a bit odd- but emailed and was then given instruction on what to do (which was easy). You don't have a way to adjust the temperature in your room. The A/C seemed to be on most of the time and at points it got a bit chilly. For me - I didn't mind it as much - but something to note. There were a few long strands of hair on my sheets - which while the rest of the place looked clean - this concerned me a bit. However, the biggest complaint I had was that while this was listed as a smoke free property - it REEKED of smoke when I got there. It appeared to be being aired out when I came - so I was hoping it would dissipate. After a few hours I went ahead and emailed Marissa concerns around the the smell and also the stands of hair in my bed. This was around 9pm. The next day I got up and left for several hours - when I got back around 2pm the smoke smell was still there, not as bad, but still there. I still hadn't heard back from Marissa - so I emailed her updating her on the smoke smell not being as strong. About 10 minutes she wrote me back for the first time to say that the type of sheets they are sometimes hair clings to them. She did say she would let the owners know, as for the smoke she apologized and said that the previous renters must have smoked in it. For the price paid to stay here I found the response disappointing. There is NO WAY that the people that cleaned the cabin didn't notice the smoking smell as it was that strong. Had this place been as described (smoke free), I would have given it 4 stars. Had I gotten a better response from my concerns - 3 stars. Definitely has potential - but I left unimpressed overall with the experience.
