"Generally the hotel was spotless, the staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast excellent. Only 3 downsides. Firstly, the room was very small and the shower room so tiny you could scarcely turn round. Secondly, the hotel is a fair hike from Villers centre. Buses are few and far between and taxis don't exist in Villers and there isn't much around the hotel. Thirdly, the stairs from the underground car park come up outside the hotel. Got soaked. "We spent 10 days at la Résidence Les embruns in September, and we loved it. It's an older property that would benefit from some renovations and updates (like a fresh coat of paint all over). That said, it's very close to the wonderful beach, and also services like a grocery store (Carrefour Market). Carole at the reception desk is a pleasure to deal with. Downtown is about one kilometre away, an easy and pleasant walk. Very recommended."

Would have been a lovely quiet setting, surrounded by pastures and trees, although we couldn't use our sun balcony for a couple of hours due to a group of 20 to 30 people (guests of the proprietor?) having a very noisy outside buffet party directly underneath us"

"Really gorgeous hotel, grounds are very pretty and well kept. Staff were incredibly helpful. The only thing that was missing was there wasn’t a restaurant on site for evening meals. But there was a lovely snack menu and Deauville was 10 mins drive away and has plenty of restaurants. Would highly recommend. "
