"Good enough for the stay"

"Charming, little, hotel, right by the sea. The exterior is a bit unassuming, maybe even a bit uninviting but the interior renovations have lots of personality. Room was comfortable and well appointed for its size, and the restaurant churned out tasty food. I would critique the pricing a bit, based on the location (Blonduos isn’t exactly a bustling tourist hub) and that while tasty, the food pricing was in-line with 4-star hotels in Myvatn and Vik, and the elevated presentation didn’t fit the...

"Clean, warm, and quiet with very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast selection with fresh made waffle batter and freshly baked bread. Also is located right next to a horse farm! Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling in the area"

"The property was located in a great spot. Very quiet and clean. The communal kitchen was great if you wanted to save some money on food. We ate at the harbour restaurant next door, highly recommend! "

"Charming is the perfect word to describe this wonderful hotel. Sometimes charming is a bad thing, but in this case charming included all the modern conveniences, except a mini refrigerator. There is not much to do in this town, but the hotel room was worth the stay. We loved the swan and elephant towel sculptures as well. The only reason a 5-star review was not given is that anyone with a physical disability will have difficulty with the steep stairs inside and outside the hotel. Otherwise,...

"The building was actually a dorm for students, which is turned into a hotel during the summer. The furniture looks like a dorm room. The bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was average."
