"I intentionally booked a beautiful room with a bath tub for the end of our trip to Europe. The day we were arriving, they switched our hotel and said they were “upgrading us” This wasn’t true. We went from a honeymoon suite with a beautiful design and bath with a full bed to a room that was very average with a “mop it yourself” shower and 2 twin beds. No one was there to speak with. "The hotel is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and the rooms were large and airy. It would be a great hotel were it not for a few thing. Firstly, the hard floors in the room just make noise travel downstairs. We were woken up on both nights by the room above walking around after midnight. Carpeting or rugs would be better. They sent email explaining "3 flights"-but with travel and limited internet access between booking and arriving, we did not get email before arrival.
