"The cabin was definitely a place where rustic meets modern! Bedding, bathroom & hot tub very clean. TV & microwave looked new. The rest of the place felt much more like a rustic cabin. Bathroom was very unique! My husband & I loved the quiet & were able to unwind in the hot tub under the bare trees of winter as the river gently rolled by. Just what we needed! Finding the entrance was tricky. Felt like we were turning into someones drive way. Trust the gps & get there before nightfall. ...

"My husband and I as well as our oldest daughter and son in law stayed in cabin 9. It was perfect in many ways, very welcoming. Peaceful nature but close to town and MIS for Nascar. Our host, John, was very helpful. I would recommend a nightlight for the cabin as it is very dark if you have to get up in the middle of the night. Highly recommend. "

"We loved staying in the cabin. We were able to cook a big breakfast, prepare sandwiches, and spend the day at the races! Then we came home to relax at our cabin. It was very peaceful and enjoyable."

"We came to town for a martial arts competition in Saline. We found this campground/retreat center online and it was much more affordable than many of the other properties we looked at and provided the space we needed for our extended family joining us. Host made sure we were in two units of the same cabin which was really nice. "Close to MIS! Very Clean and quiet. It’s like indoor camping. Didn’t use the fire pit area but what a great option for groups. Floor is a bit warped in the bedrooms and bathroom door didn’t close shut. Remember there is not WiFi or tv but having Verizon, our cell phones did work in the area. Contact with owner was great."
