"Had a great time away with family and friends. 4 adults and 7 children for October school holiday. Plenty of room in the property. Children had a great time in games room with plenty of communal space to feel we weren’t all over each other. Comfy beds. Good kitchen equipment. Great outdoor space. We were hit by storm Ciaren and had a power cut for several hours. The owner was amazing and went out of his way to provide us with a gas stove!! Lovely man. Lovely property. We hope to return."

"This beautiful property exceeded all our expectations and while the listing is accurate it does not really reflect how amazing this property is . Nestled away the property is like a hidden gem set in stunning and well maintained gardens which are a delight to walk around . The tennis court is an added bonus . Inside the house is beautifully maintained with fixtures and fittings in line with the grandeur this property deserves. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our friends birthday and spending time just relaxing in the house and enjoying the space was perfect. Our hiost Marie was extremely communicative and helped put us in touch with Marianne the chef . This made our weekend - Marianne catered to our needs for breakfast which was large varied and splendid a 3 course evening meal -which was quite delicious . We ate in the auberge opposite for the first night but when we return we will request Marianne’s services for each night of our stay . It was a perfect weekend all round and we will definitely be back ."

"Property was clean and tidy and in an ideal location for walking the dog to the village. All the locals are very friendly and the local food store has a very helpful manager given that I had to go out the first night and buy some basics. The property was great with everything you need in an holiday rental apart from two things. The enclosed front garden is a highlight which was great for the dog Mosquitoes at night in the loft bedroom and a very poor and intermittent WiFi signal being broadcast from the owners house which is adjacent to the property. The property was advertised with WiFi which it clearly doesn’t have now and comments like the previous English renters did not complain/ or just use your data plan / or you can go to McDonalds in another town where far from helpful in my opinion. I had to get the owners to reboot the router, as one of the issues was the router thought I was a threat etc. They tried their best to help me but clearly they couldn’t given this was a range issue and there devices where known and also had access to known cached websites on the router"
