The property was great. We had originally booked another property but the owners cancelled the day off. The booking here was easy and the owner very responsive. We had 10 family members come up for thanksgiving so it was a party of 12. The game room and sauna were a hit!!!!!! The location was quite and easy to access highways.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay. Everything was as expected according to the listing and the website pictures. We left a few times for excursions with the kids but other than groceries would never have HAD to leave the property.

December Birthday Celebrations
We celebrated our friend's birthdays, we had 12 people and it was perfect for all us. House was decorated for Christmas. The living room was so nice, had a fireplace and we had a movie night. The only thing is the house could’ve been a little bit cleaner. Overall it was a very nice house!!

First time in a few years all the family got together - the kids and adults really enjoyed it. Plenty of room and the house's amenities were good. We were able to use the outside amenities as well which was fun. Only issue was the main TV in living room (no audio) which we reported to owner.

Great Family Time
I spent a few days with my family at this home and we had a great time. The game room is awesome. The house is beautiful. The rooms were spacious. The one thing was getting food is more than 10 mins away if you want more than pizza. It wasn't bad, but it was a little drive. The area is quiet and peaceful. I would recommend.

Fun large home
The home was large and had lots of activities for adults and children (playground, pool, hot tub, game room). We had a lot of fun! However, I will say the place was dirty (lots of floor stains, walls). The towels and furniture was not bad and we did feel safe there. Lots of lighting did not work and there was a very bad smell when we arrived. It seemed to go away during our stay. Overall, lots of fun and they we very responsive to our needs.

Septic tank problem
There was a septic backup and we call the property manager who ended up fixing it but was accusing us of throwing paper towels and what not in there. Our family has been doing this for at least 5 years place to place And we know about septics. It happened like 2 days after we were there so I said it must have been the previous people. Really didn't care for the accusation!

Beware of septic problems
The house was beautiful the game room and the pool everyone enjoyed. On our first day we got there and two hours later we have poop coming out of the shower and then the landlord of the house says they’re kicking us out because we have too many people which we did not and he wanted us to pay for the septic system because he said we broke it . This was all not true all we wanted him to do was send a plumber out to unclog these toilets and fix the problem and he wanted to threaten us on our first night there and wreck everyone’s trip. After an hour he did send out a plumber to fix it but we still smelled septic the whole trip and the plumber said that he needed to clean out that septic tank because it was filled above the level it was supposed to be nobody came and cleaned it out. The trash container where you were supposed to put all your garbage bags was filled the first day we got there so we try to get as much trash in the container as we could. I don’t think this landlord cares about his property and takes care of it like he supposed to I think he is a slumlord. It really is a shame because it is a beautiful house and we did still manage to have a good vacation.

Not up to my cleaning standards
I hate to start out on a bad note but the house just was not clean. Taking our shoes off on the rug at the front door is a thing in our home and respectfully we did the same at this rental property. For the time it took for us to put our bags in our bedrooms and check out the rest of the house my son’s white socks were black, this is not an exaggeration. There was writing on the walls in the living room above the couch. The furniture had not been wiped down before our stay, that was also dirty. The living room furniture was a leathery type. You could tell the home had not had a seasonal cleaning in quite a while as the baseboards, window sills, blinds etc were filthy. The screens in the kitchen window were filled with dust. The surface cleaning was sub par at best. The outside of the refrigerators were dirty as well as the wall next to it. It was as though trash was thrown into the can, splashed on the wall and never wiped down. It was refreshing to see that the inside of the refrigerators were pretty clean. There were stains and maybe toothpaste, not really sure what on a set of curtains in one of the bedrooms. The recreational room was the worse room in the home. There were stains and a sticky substance on the pool table as well as the card table. It looked as though someone wiped boogies on the wall . We were unable to shoot pool as there were balls missing and the pockets were broke. Beware there are no bunk beds in any room as noted in house description.

Run - Not as advertised - pictures are deceiving and this home is FILTHY!!!
This home is filthy. Not the type of dirty that a quick cleaning service can correct. We are talking long term stubborn dirt including muddy carpets, holes in the wall, light switches held up by tape, curtain rods held up by tape, dingy sheets, and thin dingy comforters, stained mattresses and stained baby crib mattress, dried smushed bugs on kitchen ceiling, outdoor table with spills that wasn’t cleaned up, outdoor chairs with holes in them, luke warm hot tub (disgusting), cob webs in dining room chandelier, tons of cameras outside and inside the home, loose banisters, refrigerators that did not ever get fully cold, a layer of dust everywhere, cracked floor tiles, stains on walls, dirty rugs, pool is smaller than what it looks like in the pictures and there is not a diving board (as in the pictures). The home is very choppy. The only way to get into the “bonus room” with the 2 king size beds, is to walk through the bedroom with with the 1 king and pull out sofa bed. This can be difficult depending on who you planned to put in each of those room. This house is severely overpriced by thousands of dollars. The owner told me that they reserve the right to enter the home at any time even if it is not an emergency. We had to call VRBO to ensure that was against policy. The entire weekend we worried about our privacy and our safety with such a rude host. We have pictures and videos of everything I have described. This house is NOT worth the money - DO NOT - I REPEAT, DO NOT RENT THIS HOME!

Another Fun Visit
We returned here after traveling here a few years ago and everything was just as nice. The kids enjoyed the basement and the outside play area, adults enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We had great weather and the property is a great location to access many Poconos activities. House was clean, stocked with what we needed, and had plenty of space. Thanks!

Very nice house
The house was very big, with lots of room! We were on our annual girl’s weekend and really appreciated the number of large beds and the large table we could gather around. The living room also had plenty of seats where we could sit and gab and laugh!

we are happy with our choice
the pictures were pretty accurate throughout the house. they ran out of garbage bags and laundry detergent but someone brought it over fairly quickly - like within 15 min of me sending a message over. we stayed with a total of 3 other families. we have little kids, all under 5. the home isnt very child friendly as in, no toys etc but we were ok with that becuase we brought our own. there is an outdoor playgfround which our kids really enjoyed. one of the issues we had were cleanliness. the floors were VERY dirty. our kids had socks on for like 15 min and their socks were very dark gray. and some of the beds still had hair from previous stayers. we had to wear shoes throughouht the house because the floors were very dirty. but overall, we were very happy with the house and the communication. we did see a couple of deer which was very very cool for the kiddos. 30ish min away from camelback. close by , theres a VERY cheap fireworks shop, bada bada? fireworks and we loved a ice cream shop right next door, sweet cravings. it was so delicious and the price was great. were from NYC so it was cheap for us !

What a wonderful home!
We couldn’t be happier about this home. We are a big group ranging from infants to adults and it was perfect for all. Lenny the owner is extremely helpful and attentive upon arrival. The house is spacious and clean. There is plenty of kitchen supplies to cook a big meal. Lenny provided us with soaps, toilet paper , paper towels , everything needed to enjoy ourselves. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, and grocery stores . The rooms were very spacious with plenty of closet space. The outside was great for the little ones with the jungle gym and also a perfect fire pit for the adults. We will definitely be back .

My family and I had stayed for 4 nights in October. This house had something for everyone. The sauna and hot tub were enjoyed by the adults, the playroom was great for the younger crowd, and the outdoor playground was fun for the kid. The house was very clean and comfortable. The double fridges really came in handy. Our host answered questions and concerns quickly and was helpful. Overall we had a wonderful time during our stay and would definitely recommend for friends and family.
