Nestled into the Perthshire countryside, Chapelton Cottage offers spacious and comfortable accommodation. The perfect get away with beautiful views over the Vale of Strathmore; just 3.5 miles to the town of Blairgowrie. Ideal base for outdoor activities and close to Angus Glens, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace and the new V&A Dundee.
4 golf courses nearby; great walks and cycle friendly roads and path network. Beaches at Lunan Bay and St. Andrews.
Relax on the patio in the evening sunshine or (well, it is Scotland!) cosy beside the wood burning stove inside!
1 Super King size bed that can be converted to 2 Single size beds.
The cottage has level access throughout and is wheelchair friendly.
Dogs are welcome. Pet fee of £40 per stay which covers up to two dogs.

We enjoyed everything about Chapelton Cottage! Liz made the check-in very easy, everything was just as described and it was absolutely perfect for us! We will definitely be staying here again if in the area!

Absolutely wonderful cottage in an ideal location. Guaranteed to get a good nights sleep and wake up to spectacular sunrises. The owners were lovely and made sure we had everything we could need. Can't wait to come back 🙂

Relaxing & cosy stay!
This is our 2nd stay at this cottage, we loved it so much we had to return! The location is just absolutely beautiful & serene especially at night when all the stars are out and it’s so calm you could hear a pin drop. The cottage itself is so cosy & well equipped. We relaxed immediately upon arrival.

Always grateful to find a dog friendly property where we can have peace and quiet for a few days. Would recommend to other dog owners, but note that the garden is not fully enclosed if your pup can't be off lead! Everything was as described :)

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. Views all around and a comfortable cosy cottage, clean and well appointed, to enjoy them from. Liz the host was friendly and I wouldn’t have hesitated calling her if needed. We will definitely visit again.

Great little get-away!
Lovely place to stay if you’re looking for a cosy weekend in a rural spot. Weather wasn’t great during our stay but that didn’t matter much as we enjoyed board games by the log fire! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away from the city. Thanks Liz for a very enjoyable stay!

Great cottage in the countryside. Liz's communication was fantastic and she gave us some good recommendations for the local area. Ideal location for the dog to run around, away from main roads. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Cosy cottage
Absolutely immaculate cottage tucked away in the middle of the gorgeous countryside but still only 5 minutes away from shops/pubs/takewaway. Liz was very friendly and helpful and answered any questions I had really quickly. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

Chapleton Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area abut also as a haven to get away and relax. Spotlessly clean and Liz was very helpful with recommendations. We visited the Hermitage Trail, Glamis Castle and Forfar Loch parkrun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful, just what we needed. The log burner was an absolute dream, all be it we are absolute amateurs at getting a fire going but we worked it out eventually 😅 Very spacious and comfortable! Had everything you could need.
