"Don’t let the term hostel deter you from booking this wonderful hotel. While they do have bunk rooms with shared bathrooms, we booked a beautiful room with ensuite bath. "Close enough to walk to anything and everything Lake Bled has to offer yet just enough removed from the business of Lake Bled during the summer. Breakfast was fantastic We were given great suggestions for things to do in and around Bled. The laundry service was greatly appreciated (24 hours between clothes being dropped off and being washed, folded and returned to us for 15 EUR) If we ever return to Bled we will come back here!"

"If you are visiting Lake Bled this is a great place to stay as you are only a 10 minute drive away . There is on site parking which is included . The breakfast area was cozy and had all the basics needed to start your day and was also included . There are several restaurants nearby to choose from for lunch or dinner . The area is super quiet and we enjoyed just sitting on our balcony taking it all in .There is no front desk at this hotel which I was a little leary about the automated check in process but it was very simple and worked great . Once you make your room payment and scan your travelling docs it will provide you with a lock code . I was very impressed with the self check in process . Bedroom and bathroom were spacious and superclean . We really enjoyed staying at the Penzion Kovac and would not hesitate to stay there again . "
