Quiet & Cozy Home Away From Home in Black River Falls

This well maintained home includes many amenities for your home away from home! ATV and snowmobile trails are blocks away along with two sit down restaurants and convenience store. Downtown area along with fast food restaurants within a couple miles. Only a couple miles off Hwy I-94 for those who are just passing through! Half a mile from boat landing of the black river and three miles to beautiful Perry creek. Convenient in town location.

Enjoy this private home all to yourself with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There is a large living area on the main floor. The upstairs includes two bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom, a full bath, and a sofa sleeper are on the main floor. Downstairs you'll find two bedroom and a full bath. The living area downstairs is still being completed. However, there is a loveseat and television set up. There is a flat screen television with DVD player in the living room on the main level and in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The downstairs living area has a television along with the downstairs bedroom. There are over 50 DVD's to choose from along with books and board games! Property has one large deck on the front, a small deck by the back door, and a deck coming off the master bedroom on the second level. Feel free to bring your ATV, snowmobile, or boat!

The home and large lot are yours to enjoy. The garage is used as storage and is unavailable to guests along with closets throughout the home. A key lock box allows for 24 hour entry with the code being provided three days prior to check in. Check in and check out times are strictly adhered to so proper cleaning can be done. Please be aware of this! If additional bedrooms are requested to be open during your stay there will be an additional charge. Bedrooms that are not reserved based on guest count will be locked, please ensure your guest count is correct when booking.
We allow two guests per bedrooms. As listed below:
1-2 guests: 1 bedroom 1 bathroom
3-4 guests: 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms
5-6 guests: 3 bedrooms 2 bathroom
7-8 guests: 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
9 guests: 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
10-12 guests: 5 bedrooms, pull out couch, 3 bathrooms
13-14 guests: 5 bedrooms, pull out couch, and futon, 3 bathrooms
Again, If you want extra bedrooms open there will be an additional charge, just let us know when you book!

Located along I-94, Black River Falls in Black River Country is a convenient destination for outdoor adventure. Mountain bikers, hikers, and birdwatchers can explore miles of wilderness trails in either the Black River State Forest or the Jackson County Forest, home to black bear, timber wolves, and the endangered Karner Blue butterfly. Plenty of hiking trails to explore with great photo opportunities. Black River Country also offers 235 miles of the best designated ATV and single-track motorcycle trails in the Midwest.

The winding Black River is popular for canoeing, boating, tubing and great fishing. Wazee Lake, the deepest lake in Wisconsin and one of the clearest, is a popular year-round scuba diving destination. Along the area’s quiet country roads you’ll find unique shops and antiques dealers – the perfect combination for the weekend treasure hunter. Cains Orchard, wineries, farmers markets, craft market, and flea markets around Jackson County provide for continuous fun! Bruce mound has tubing, skiing, and snowboarding. The Lunda park has an aquatic center, playground, and picnic area for kids to enjoy. Stroll through downtown Black River Falls to see the historical murals that tell the town's story, or stop in at Sand Creek Brewery for a tour. Ho-Chunk Gaming offers the very best in gaming when you're ready to come inside.

When first got there, lawn was over grown and patio furniture and chairs were very dirty. Beds were uncomfortable and one chair in living room was lumpy and couldn't sit in it. Upstairs was too warm to sleep. Decor was outdated. But we did enjoy our stay with our group of friends.

We had a great time enjoying the beach and paddleboarding at Wazee Lake. The home was a perfect spot to recoup after a day in the sun and we were able to walk just 1 block to get dinner at Re-Petes. Thank You!

Stay by the river
This is a nice home. Several bedrooms and baths. We were visiting family in the area and their home was full with other family members, so this was a nice and convenient place to stay, within a few miles of the family home. Walking in the area was nice as it is a comfortable walk to the downtown strip, or even shorter walk to the convenience store and restaurant.

We had a group of 6, 3 couples. We were all able to have a floor each along with a bathroom to ourselves. It was very nice. We would definitely come back again. My only suggestion would be to remove some of the items off counter and decor so there is more room to sit things your bringing along. Thank you for a great stay away from home!

Perfect place for our daughter's wedding weekend
This home was perfect alternative than a hotel for our daughter's wedding weekend. We had plenty of room for all the wedding items and could relax in a cozy "home" setting instead of a hotel. The kitchen was handy for making a quick breakfast and the house was very clean. Most of all we were thrilled with the peace and quiet in the surrounding neighborhood. Thanks for sharing your home. Cute, Clean and Comfortable
Carly's home was so much nicer than booking a hotel room. The home was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and even had tin foil for our use! We loved the basket of snacks on the kitchen counter too. Although there were only four of us, there is plenty of room for a larger group as well. We loved having all the movies and games available. The home is very nice, clean, comfortable and has all the comforts of home. Thanks Carly for letting us enjoy your home.

Quiet, cozy, clean and would rent again.
We thought the house was just right for us. The weather was not real cooperative and conducive to riding motorcycles but we did ride a couple days and the scenery (especially trees) were beautiful. Sparkling Clean! Comfortable and easy!
This cute house was super clean well maintained and comfortable, plus did I say SUPER clean!. The hosts thought of everything! The kitchen is very workable and I totally appreciated the empty refrigerator and pantry. I provided the food for eight people and needed the room. The beds are firm, sheets soft and everyone LOVED it. We used the grill provided, sat in the sun on their pretty porch in this quiet neighborhood. We can hardly wait to come again. We felt welcomed, pampered and had a wonderful experience. We had excellent communication with the owner, and this property exceeded it's description.

Cozy, cute, charming
Perfect little home away from home, with the good and the bad the good: 1. comfortable, and clean 2. the owners/managers are very nice and helpful. When we had any issue, they were right on it. 3. Perfect location for our visit - we have family that lives in Brockway and BRF. 4. Beds are very comfortable, but needs new pillows 5. Plenty of hot water for 4 adults to shower every day :) 6. Was wonderful to have washer/dryer in the home for our 8 day stay! 7. If you like to sleep 'cold', request the basement bedroom. Being from Alaska, it was nice to sleep in an area of 65 degrees (or below) vs. the upstairs where the temp was too warm for us. There is a half bath downstairs, which suited us fine. THE BAD: 1. States this place sleeps 11, but only dishes for 6 people. When we had family over for dinner, we had to use paper plates and plastic utensils 2. The dining room table is GLASS, and NOT secure. When my 8 year old nephew leaned on it during a card game, the table top and contents fell onto the floor 3. The main floor shower stall is SMALL. It was a tight squeeze for me to shower, and I am 5'5" 135 lbs! 4. The home has way too many knick/knacks and decorations. If you have small children along, or planning to visit, you will have to hide A LOT of stuff (we put all the 'stuff' in the empty pantry cabinet) 5. There are not enough pots and pans to plan any sort of FAMILY meal. 6. The bedroom on the main floor - the window does NOT close all the way. It appears when the windows were remodeled, this window was ordered 1/4 inch to short -- if you tried to close it on the bottom, the gap was on top! Now that we 'know' this place, and know what to expect, we will plan our next visit accordingly (like bring my own hand mixer, and cheese grater, and baking pans). We will definitely stay here again! It really was a good fit for our family. Thank you again!! The Jones'

Clean and Convenient
The property was very clean. The entry with the lockbox was very easy to use. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch. Location was very convenient and quiet. It was at the end of a dead end street and there was a very nice bar/restaurant within walking distance. The town had several antique stores which my sister enjoyed. We also enjoyed the Mexican restaurant. The flexibility with adding additional bedrooms worked out well for us as my brother and sister-in-law decided to join us at the last moment.
