The Monte Vista Hotel

3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1002)
"Enjoyed our stay, but would not stay on the 2nd floor again. Walls are too thin. Also, a minor inconvenience, our reservations with Expedia said King Suite with full size refrigerator. We were given a King room with a mini frig. There really needs to be clarification with Expedia."

New Castle with 6 bedrooms and WiFi in beautiful Black Mountain

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"We stayed here in January so it was chilly out but we still enjoyed the property. We had two adults and 5 pre teens/teens with us. The space is quite large so everyone could have ample sleeping space, play space and bathrooms. The driveway is a bit steep so in winter I’d recommend 4WD if there’s any weather. But we honestly just enjoyed the beautiful home and its surroundings. Would definitely go back! Thanks for sharing your home!"

Black Mountain Inn

3.5 star property

"Dirt road/drive. Not a lot of room for navigation, but enough room to move around. The house was quaint and perfect. Check in was an envelope left on a table. Perfect! Serves a purpose for a one night stay. No refrigerator and limited outlets. Would stay again!"

"We stayed for a week while working in Black Mountain / Swannanoa. This beautiful home was a fantastic place to recoup and connect with our group.
