Stunning mountain home that exceeded everyone’s expectations

This home is even more impressive than the listing conveyed. Very spacious, gorgeous inside and out, and perfect spaces for everything you’d want to do on a getaway. Everything was very clean, we wanted for nothing. HIGHLY recommend.

Best of the Best!

Although this was a drive the location could not have been better! The accommodations were perfect. There was plenty of room to spread out, but also enough room to come together for meals, outdoor by the fireplace and to gather in the living areas. Heated floors in the bathrooms was a huge hit! The gourmet kitchen was so nice and cooking for many people was a pleasure. Would surely recommend and would love to stay again.

Relaxing spot for a friend reunion

Our group of 9 adults had a wonderful stay at The Alpine House. The large common areas easily allowed our group to all hang out together in both the main living room and the basement living room - both are very cozy spaces. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware and we appreciated having the ability to use a second fridge in the basement. The bedrooms are wonderful. Spaced far enough apart from each other to give each individual or couple space when needed with comfy beds and linens. The surrounding property is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. This is a great location if you're looking for an updated and well appointed home that provides a lot of privacy! Unfortunately the outdoor deck furniture was dirty, and soaked completely through with rainwater from a storm the night before arrived so we were not able to comfortably or collectively spend time on the deck. It was surprising to us that a cover wasn't in use with the outdoor sofa sectional, especially in such a grand property. It would have been wonderful to spend more time on the spacious deck. All in all our group was very happy staying at The Alpine House. If you're planning on spending a lot of time in Asheville, be ready for the drive up the mountain from the entrance gate (especially late at night), but enjoy the serenity of your surroundings!
